Speaking of which I had done Saxony 1806 and simply defended my capital until the French beat the Prussians and Russians back. Long story short, Poland dies but I managed to capitulate Britain and Russia in under 60 turns.

i did it with Saxony. hold on to your capital. when the spam is a little less go for capturing less guarded cities. i had davout(cav gen) with ambulance. help out your allies with fight. completed the quest around 70ish turn

I also did it as Morocco. But really Saxony rarely capitulates as an ally whereas Netherlands always does. Thus playing as the country that doesnโt get defeated and surviving is smarter.

Saxony is pretty easy. Just position your cavalry beside Berlin on turn 2. On turn 3, capture berlin, and spam line infantry or militias to protect your own cities(spam line infantry on the city where the enemy Blucher is attacking). Around turn 10 Prussian attacks should die off, but still keep an eye on your territories since a rogue Austrian or Russian unit may capture them if left uncheck. Send some units to capture Danzig and start building troops there so you can capture Swedish cities, or just prevent the Russians from reinforcing their Swedish allies. Even without generals, it can be done in less than 60 turns. Just capture as much cities as you can, keep building grenadiers and donate unneeded resources to your allies.

Saxony can be the best 1 star if played right. You have little income and just your capital a factory and stable in the beginning. Better that you got good generals. You must be prepared for the Prussians attack,since they have Blucher,you lose Dresden,game over. I have tried going in for Berlin,that failed miserabley. Next I just let the French do it(since they want to and I'd just get in the way), I held my capital (just barely) then went down to Prague once captured,income goes up. Then set my sights on Austria then on to Moscow. The Brits will capture Amsterdam, so build a force form Dresden to stop them there and eventually invade Britain. Not easy but doable.

Seems like you can only capture Berlin around turn 5-8 as Saxony. Blucher is the main problem for saxony, since he just slaughters infantry. My first attempt was using Blucher and Massena, and it was really easy. Second attempt at finishing saxony was only with Blucher, which was also easy, but i might try without using any generals. The french are just too powerful for Prussia, so Saxony is pretty safe after the Prussians stop attacking them. Since there are only 4 one star countries in 1806( Saxony, Netherlands, Sardinia and Morocco) , out of the 4, the difficulty from most difficult to easiest is Sardinia, Morocco, Saxony then Netherlands. Netherlands and Saxony is interchangeable, since dealing with the british assault can be pretty difficult, but you're given time to prepare for them, while in Saxony you're pretty much in the frontlines turn 1. And you won't be getting much resources at first.

The first time tried going for Berlin, I lost Dresden 2nd turn, ouch! But learned that the Frenchies really want to do it,so why not let them? Letting the French do the heavy lifting load helped me keep my little income and build a force for capturing Prague, which is key here. Then when the French army leaves Berlin in thier march east,very easy to steal it away from Dresden(;

Netherlands and Saxony best choices. I used Netherlandss but I bribed Austria too much so they came in spamming like crazy.

If you decide to play as a 1 star country in 1806, just ignore Morocco and Sardinia. Sardinia used to be doable, but now it's hard unless you have strong generals.

I tried Sardinia and beat it with S rank. Used sophia jourdan Washington. If you can survive the onslaught, Europe gets beat by coalition and then u help out with egypt and Ottoman.
