Is Bismarck a good general? I'm saving up for a gold general. Any other suggestions. I don't have any Cav or naval. I'm planning on getting Murat, but what for navy?

There are many posts on it in the Command and Control HQ (check it out).
The summary dont get Navy until you have medals to waste. You can finish most of the game with 3 stars without navy (even British Campaign) using only free Falsen.
Here is the summary of purchase paths for no IAP and no money.

* Alexander
* Karl
* Dabrowski / Davout
* John/Hood/Lannes

Bismarck is simply too expensive to be honest. Washington can do a lot more and there’s also Karl and Massena, the infantry Gods of the EW6 Easytech community. |

He was archduke j. He was horrible though, in the F category as one of the worst generals in ew4 🤣 |
