But how do I unlock the princesses as generals? Good thing I made a cloud save before I spent those flowers on Sophie. Most you get from beating campaigns. If you go to challenges, then on the princess icon, than tap on each individual princess, you will find the price they demand So for Sophie. If I have 120 flowers and 850 medals, I can buy her?

Napoleon has been simply too buffed by ET to be beaten by some princess Actually, sophia does have alert and jungle fighting, whereas napoleon has counterattack and aura buff, and higher battle ability. My money is still on napoleon The thing is, you never have an Artillery General go alone, otherwise they get swarmed. Also, Artillery in this game is for destroying forts and weakening cities, not killing enemy units. Unless you’re Scharnhorst on Rocket Artillery, since he’s the only ideal Artillery General for that role. That said, to determine whereas Sophie or Napoleon are the best, we should have them attack some fortifications and compare their performance.

I always played portugal 1798 by sending napoleon south east. He single handely handles that front. But yeah, you typically use artillery with your infantry unless you have 3 artillery generals, than you can support a front by spamming line infantry for protection

You don’t need that much support. You should only have more than 2 generals in the case of cavalry generals because these guys are your main force to engage the enemy.

The only downside of buying her is that you have to sacrifice her palace ability which is quite useful. Be it to make the start of a difficult conquest easier, be it to defend well against enemies in a difficult mission, be it to give your units an easier time against the enemy and clean the path for an offensive, it's definitely something that will help you in many situations.

I want to get her but I'm stuck on the first one in French eagle siege of Toulon and I have upgraded massena, gates, jourdan, clinton. I need help, please! It would have been a better idea to get a cavalry general like Ney to help you. Not saying that Masséna is bad, he’s great. But since you get two free Infantry generals at the start and no free cavalry general, It’s a better idea to get cavalry first. Anyways, let’s go. First, just upgrade your city to level 4. Then, skip your turn. Next turn, buy a Grenadier and put Massena on him. Then, put Jourdan in one of the Heavy Artillery. Kill all British troops defending Marseille. Meanwhile, send your Corvette to attack the port. This is between turns 2-5. Once all of the troops are gone, attack Marseille and reclaim it. Since Napoleon has arrived and you get to control him, it shouldn’t be hard. Once Marseille is reclaimed, build a Frigate and put Clinton (It would be better to put Falsen, but you don’t have him) in it. Then, send him to kill Gravina. Meanwhile, send your ground troops to defend Toulouse from the Spanish Army. From the next turn onwards, just keep seeing Corvettes to kill Gravina. But make sure that one of them stays at the port to prevent capture. If Toulouse and Marseille are still in French hands and Gravina dies, you will have completed the mission, probably 3-starred it.
