Which of these three is the best? Sophia is better than john, even with his 50% discount. As for alexander, I say she is better than him too, even though he has an aura buff. But if you get her even more of a point to getting alexander. I say go for it and get sophia!!! |

But mahmud is an aura buff general whereas sophia isn’t. Think of him as having two salvo skills, while giving an additional salvo skill to the artillery units next to him. But sophia has jungle fighting, storm fortifications, and alert (protects artillery from other artillery and navy), on mahmud. They are both good so idk. The 650 medals difference does swing the balance in sophia’s direction. However, if you already have many artillery generals/units, mahmud is better |

I have been hyped up for an artillery general with tactics master for a while. Although i am dissapointed she lacks a terrain bonus, I am still excited to try her out |

Exactly. You get sophia mid french eagle John was very good before the update as he was by far the cheapest useful general with a good terrain bonus. The only person comparable to him was scharnhorst at 1200 medals. Now we have sophia, who unlike john, starts out at 40% hp and higher level skills. The difference between 20% and 40% hp loses us around 300 medals. Why pay more for less when you can get sophia |
