Since this is the "random" thread and I didn't know where to post it...
I look at what happened on this date on Wikipedia everyday and saw this for today (Dec. 7th)
1815 – Michel Ney, Marshal of France, was executed by a firing squad near Paris' Jardin du Luxembourg for supporting Napoleon.
Thought it might interest some of you.
I see quite a few things about the period EW4 takes place in and have learned a few things because of it.
Like Moreau was Banished to America and lived in New Jersey,I'm form N.J. and never knew that! He was also offered command of the continental army!
Did you know that the actor Rene Auberjonois is the great-great-great grandson of Joachim Murat?
