So it’s actually possible for America to capitulate even with lend leasing in the 1815 conquest so I had to remember the stuff I did which overran North America in under 20-30 turns.
I: Economy
It is important to have a 2000 material per turn economy to earn 200 material at 90% tax. This is to have at least the resources to hold one city off the Canadian Mexican Spam in the latter part of the invasion.
II: Supply Lines
You need to have the islands near Iberia, Greenland, Greater Antilles Islands and a city in South America in order for this to work. You also need to build Factories, Stables and Ports in order to call in a different variety of troops that will help in the large scale invasion.
In this case, I captured Caracas from Gran Colombia, used it to capture the Caribbean City and have two supply lines to invade North America.
III: Invasion
The best parts to invade are the ones closer to the supply lines, such as Panama, Florida and Newfoundland. A diversion is also necessary such as invading straight to Washington which puts Canada and Mexico to a Spamfest while actual invasions start at Panama and Newfoundland. Quickly take as many cities as possible in those turns before reinforcements arrive.
It’s also recommended to invade Florida after securing Mexico City to avoid Mexican reinforcements. Then later use those troops to encircle the Canadians at Massachusetts.
You can open up 3 fronts in Canada. The Ontario front, The Detroit Front and the Massachusetts front. The Massachusetts front is the most heavily fortified one. It’s where the French allies also start to invade. However, this also means that since most of their troops are here, the other two fronts are least guarded.
Due to fighting the Americans some of the cities have weak city fortifications. Troops with Forced March and Blast can simply waltz and capture 2-3 cities in a turn which secured a fine invasion. Mexicans cannot react easily due to fronts in Florida and Texas too.
After capturing New York and Washington and capitulated Canada, Mexican defense in California is also weak with no troops present to defend in some cases.
So after destroying the Canadian army in Massachusetts, there’s really no threat at all. Simply a safe landing and a good established of a beachhead is enough to start a good North American invasion.
