I am also stuck on this level... If no one responds or posts any help to this thread, then I will create a new one... Anyways, I am stuck on the level because Sofia is almost impossible to kill... I have Murat and Dabrowski, but they always die or take lots of damage before reaching the land portion where Sofia is on. Pls help, post tips, etc.

And it is a bloodbath without any tactical finesse. I could recive 2 stars only when some of my gens were marshals already, and it is close to imposiible to receive 3 stars without one (or even two) navy generals.

Would you say it is a must for this mission... Because I calculated that I will have around 1950ish medals after I finish all the conquests and receive the rewards. I currently do not have Karl, and Karl costs 1950 medals. So should I save up and buy Karl, or save up for Sakurako and then upgrade her? I think I might be able to complete the mission without a naval general, but I don't know for sure... Any other tips are welcome

If you ever will decide to hire an Admiral - let it be the best one - Nelson (or, at least, Treville). Sakurako has some defensive skills, but defense is not what we need when we use our admirals. Powerful attack and second strike probability - those are really important. Nelson or Treville attacking twice are amazing. Still, you have to answer the question: "What do I need an Admiral for?". All what admirals can do in EW6 are: - to help you to complete 1 mission with 3 stars; - to help you to win some conquests (Denmark, for example). Is it enough reason to invest into admirals? I don't think so.

Still being far from Crimean War, but to 3* all you need at least 2 admiral right? Then Nelson + Sakurako or Nelson + other navy gen?

So my suspicion is that Nelson/Treville is enough in favorable circumstances to complete it with 3 stars. All other naval missions including the Black See campaign are possible to beat with 3* without any admirals at all. So I would consider to hire 2 admirals if and only it is proven beyond any reasonable doubt that 1 Nelson/Treville is not enough.

For a two star victory, it's not necessary to put generals on the tank. They are too vulnerable on these littlle boat, and, on the otherside, very usefull on Ironclad or ship of the line, with their hign defensive level. I've got two stars with 10 generals (Murat, the four half discount, the four free generals and Prevost). I gave them attack items (like swords) more than military suits. We only have 20 turn and it's necessary to destroy rapidly the enemy fleet without waiting. We just need high battle ability. With the 3 range hex, it's possible to destroy a lot of boats without risk. The best way is to avoid the coasts, the forts and the cannons until the nearly end. And to occupy the ports at turn 19 or 20 with the 3 ironclad and the best generals with ambulance and tents. I succeed with a bit of luck. Two of the ironclad were destroyed in the ports, but the ennemy did'nt take them at the end. I was far away of destroying all the targets, with Sophia and Putyatin still alive with high HP. Must be possible to get 3 stars with Nelson or Treville.
