Your allies suggest you bypass the forts in front of Vienna and attack from the rear.
So I first went for lv2 city and then directly south to the target lv3 city.
The turn after I captured it a lot ot nearby passive forces started to head for it. I kept it by spamming militia/riflemen there every turn while sending the main army to dattack Budapest and the artillery general.
After they have been dealt with I went directly for Vienna (using Forced Farches on slow infantry generals) and tried to kill as much Austrian units as possible.
At about turn 12 the general next to Vienna started to go north. Luckily, with the help of the Prussian allies he could be stopped before I ran out of turns.
The generals I used were Massena, Karl, Murat, Dabrowski, Mahmud and (very late) Alexander
