I will be posting images and stuff later on, but the basic strategy is to go and capture Berlin by round 2, clean up Prussia, delay Austria, defend the english channel coast, donate some money to your allies, and then march to Moscow...
Sounds impossible? Not really. It's all about the placement of your units.
ALSO: NO IAP PURCHASES REQUIRED (just lots of time and one good calvary general and one good infantry general and maybe the item: ambulance)
1. Capture Berlin: If you can get Napoleon, Lannes, Bernadotte, and the two other artilleries (1 light artillery and 1 heavy artillery) to hit Berlin by round 2, then you should be able to capture it (even by round 2). Make sure to use the France wonder to boost the artillery attack. If you have upgraded infantry movement, then the riflemen should be able to move into Berlin (you get two in the immediate area)... In the lower regions of France, send Massena and Jourdan to defend the Rhine and push into Austria/Prussia (Around Prague). In Portugal send the light artillery and the rifleman to capture the random British island in the atlantic (Later on in the game, you can send these units to capture British cities in Ireland that the Spanish navy bombards). Ignore Sardinia because your allies will take care of them. All you have to do is hold your city (right above Sardinia).
2. During turn 2, you want to spend your gold (once) to delay Austria. Berlin NEEDS to be in your control otherwise the plan won't work.
After that, put your calvary general (if you have one) on a heavy calvary spawned from Berlin (otherwise don't build calvary in Berlin). Historically, Napoleon let his troops rest after capturing Berlin (I guess you could build lots of temples and let Lannes and Bernadotte rest). Unfortunately we don't have this luxury and we need to at least defeat Prussia by round 5 (preferably, but 6 turns will work too). You should have captured the British island in the Atlantic by round 5 as well. Send both the light infantry and artillery to capture the port (they will spawn a general there by round 5 if you don't capture it), and then capture the city (The British one in the Atlantic). I put my Massena on the Old Guard unit behind Saxony. Your Massena (aka your infantry general) and the Massena you start with should capture Prague and then march straight for Vienna (Austria should be defeated by at least turn 12).
3. Turn 5 now, Prussia should be gone, or almost near gone, Austria has just entered the war (but you're ready for them), and the Russian's are arriving in force. The biggest threat by far is their tsar cannons (which they swarm you with) and Alexander the 1st (boosts artillery attack), Killing Alexander makes things a lot easier, but it is not a requirement to kill him. Note the Russian capitol: Saint Petersburg. This is the objective city, not Moscow. It's pretty easy actually once you capture the Prussian cities of Danzig and the unnamed one right below it. Just go straight to Saint Petersburg. Austria is kind of a pain in the *Auto corrected*, but if you go fast enough, your allies won't die to their general spam. The Austrians get Karl who is super annoying, but you can just ignore him as long as he doesn't capture any cities. Instead focus all your power on defeating the Austrians and capturing their capitol. The British will try to land. Let them come and just defend your coastal cities with militia.
4. Turn 14, Austria should be almost dead. You should have captured at least one city in Ireland after capturing the other Atlantic city. You need to have control of Saint Petersburg now so the Russians will get demoralized. This will help the Ottomans finish off the Russians and Austrians. Now start devoting your attention to the Swedish and split your Russia invasion force (The force that captured Saint Petersburg) into two groups. One group will head to Moscow and clean up the Russians, the other group will go through Helsinki and help the Danish kill the Swedish. You should have captured at least one city in Ireland using the French troops sent to the other British city in the Atlantic.
5. Turn 20-25, Check the map, what areas need to be conquered? In my game, I got lucky because the Spanish defeated both the Moroccans, and the Sardinians. If that is not the case then send some units to help. The main and only large threat by now (turn 20-25) should be Great Britain. Don't worry, mass an invasion force to send across the English channel, and use the cities you captured in Ireland to assist.
6. Turn 30, the British should be the ONLY enemy country left. Just finish them off. Don't forget to use your wonder (boosts artillery attack). That's all for now! Thanks for reading the guide... More images coming!
