Are you tired of playing as a 3 star coalition country and keep getting your butt handed to you by the Grandee Armee? Are you sick and tired of successfully repelling your enemy forces, but then suddenly find yourself being surrounded by the Italian and Sicilian forces? Are you tired of losing 40% of your infantry general's hp because you decided it was a smart idea to attack Murat alone? If you are, then you've come to the right place. As the old adage goes: " If you can't beat 'em, join 'em". For some reason people keep underestimating the power of the Grandee Armee during 1815 because they control less land than usual. But what they lack in land, they make up for powerful units and generals. Also, because they have less lands, they have an advantage: they have less to lose, and have more to gain, while you have more to lose and less to gain. I tried 1815 Prussia twice, and twice i successfully defeated the majority of the French generals. But twice i was beaten back because of the Italians with Naples, along with the annoying spam of either horse grenadier guard or old guards from the French. So instead of trying to beat Prussia 1815 using only 3 moderately strong generals and 2 really weak generals and lose my mind in the process, might as well join their side. The Ottoman empire is one of the, if not the, easiest 3 star country in the 1815 conquest. Great Britain seems easy, and you might think so because they defeated the French in the battle of Waterloo in real history, but here your forces get crushed without high tech. You can capture Paris, but you'll lose most of your resources doing so. You can build units and send them all to France, hoping some of them lands, which some do but some won't. But before your units land, Prussia would already be losing, and France has time to use its units to beat your forces. It would be a war of attrition you cannot hope to win, for even if you win it, the Italians and the Sicilians are there to support France, and make you just rage quit after losing 2 of your strongest generals just to have some foothold in France. As for Spain, just pray you survive the French onslaught, because if you don't, you're pretty much screwed. Prussia has the potential to finish the conquest fast, provided you have strong generals and really high tech. Let's not consider Austria at all. Russia 1815 is weaker compared to Russia 1812 since you lose most of your generals(rip Kutuzov), and you have to deal with the Ottoman Empire knocking at your doorstep, and then later the Italians and Sicilians. The American powers are just a hassle, conquering Europe can be too late, especially if you play Mexico and Canada. Playing France itself can cripple your allies, because you can't just spawn generals every turn, and you'll be facing 4 great powers, and if you can't beat atleast 1 after around 20 turns, the Scandinavian nations would like some piece of that real estate. You can manage with some good generals tho. So based on that analysis, I'd say the Ottoman Empire is the easiest 3 star country you can play in 1815. Facing a weakened Russia and a weakened Austria(Austria is always weakened)? Yes please. Anyway, let's get on with it.
Requirements:
Generals : 1 Strong Cavalry general, 2 or more other generals (All of the generals here are optional. You can have 3 infantry generals, 3 artillery gens, etc. Having 1 cavalry general just makes it easier to deal with enemy units)
Tech: high tech for light infantry hp and defense, some tech for cavalry and artillery
Items: 2 Ambulance, 2 tents (you can have 1 ambulance and 1 tent, but having 2 of each guarantees your general's safety)
Other requirements:some game knowledge, basic tactics and good music playing in the background
Color coding: Red=Difficult
Blue=Medium
Green=Easy
Others: Red=your main pathing

Disclaimer : If you want to get an S for 1815, then playing the Ottoman empire is not a good idea. I only got an A. The reason is because for some reason, the US likes to lose despite winning. I was able to donate early and make US start beating the Mexicans and Canada. But after 20 turns, as i defeated all the coalition armies, i realized that the US was losing to the Canadians. If you want to play as a French ally and get an S, then play Algiers 1815 or Naples 1815. If you want to get an S in general, play a 1 star or 2 star country. Prussia 1815 can be good for an S 3 star, but it's pretty hard.
Turn 1 and 2:
This should be the position of your units stationed below Austria. The point of this position is so it invites Golitsyn to overextend and attack Bucharest. This makes it so you can surround him and easily dispatch of him. As you can see in the image above, i have Karl and Massena, but if you don't have Karl, then it's fine. If you have an artillery general instead of Karl then place him in the Rocket. This should be the position of your units by turn 2 :
Make sure that your units won't enter Austrian lands to prevent them from entering the war 2 turns earlier. Your goal here is to defeat Golitsyn and the Infantry general with him, and/or capture city II before the Austrians join. The reason for doing so is to prevent the Russians from sending some units to harass your cities. This also makes you focus all your attention towards the Austrians, which victory is certain.
As for your units stationed in Tbilisi, just move them towards Tsaritsyno, just in the very middle. This position gives you the most options to do. You can either choose to attack Tsaritsyno, the city on the left or the right. If you have a cavalry general, then place him in the Mamluk Cavalry. In the picture below :
You don't necessarily have to copy this position, but i just want to highlight that you can easily send your artillery and infantry to the right, and either use your cavalry to go all out on the right city, use him as distraction, or if you have a cavalry general then use him to both distract and kill units.
Turn 3-30 :
Position your units in the border of Austria. Finish the Russian forces then once the Autrians declare war, just send all your units crashing to them. Focus Cluj-Napoca, then go upward. Send your artillery to bomb Bucharest, while leave Dramali the cavalry general to clean up those pesky Austrians that keep attacking your cities. Keep spamming militias to protect your cities, while let Dramali kill off stragglers and low health units. The Italians should be helping you, so defending your cities won't be that hard. Just be mindful of your cities, you don't want to skip a turn and accidentally lose a city unnecessarily. Move upwards towards the Prussians and the Russians. The Prussians should be losing to the French, and you should keep capturing cities around Berlin, and ignore Berlin for now. The Russians will send some units to stop you, but they wouldn't be able to withstand you. After the last Austrian unit dies bravely and foolishly at the hands of your units, send Dramali to rejoin your main group. As for your diversionary unit near Tbilisi, spam lancers in your stable, and start attacking cities. Russia will spam some generals there, so be wary. If you have a cavalry general, just let him run loops against the enemy, attacking one city, then retreating towards the other city, then returning again. The enemy ai sometimes use their units to chase your general without spawning a unit to protect the city, which should be easy pickings for your other units. Use your cavalry general to harass the enemy general. If a unit goes and attacks Tbilisi, just spawn some rifleman and lancer, and just harass him until he dies. If you don't have a cavalry general,then just let your mamluk cavalry do the same, but this time let him last hit so he can heal of some damage. Ignore enemy generals and focus on cities you know you can easily capture. Make sure to get some blast from the military facilities so you can blast the enemy cities to oblivion. This should take around 10-15 turns with a cavalry general, and 15-20 without one. Send your cavalry general to rejoin your main army, while the others continue towards Moscow
.
For your units in Egypt, just let them move around or ignore them until Egypt enters the war. Once they enter, just keep an eye on the units they'll send to you. Just protect your borders from the illegal immigrants , and that's it. After Egypt falls, just disband your courageous units so they can go home to their families.
As for your cities, upgrade most of your cities and build universities. This way, you can just keep formulating blast and plague from your military facilities, which can be useful later. For the units i recommend you spam, it would be militias for defending cities, lancer with some mamluk cavalry, and of course grenadiers. Build some siege artillery too so you can siege cities faster.
For the earlier round, donate your left over resources to Algeria. At around turn 25, start donating to the US. Don't mind the Brazilians, since 100% they would kick Gran Columbia's *Auto corrected*. Just donate if you want them to beat their opponents faster.
Also, around turn 20, start training grenadiers in your cities, and send them at the borders of Bavaria. Send some of your rockets there too, so the moment Bavaria enters war, they'll regret doing so.
Turn 30- turn 60 :
Sweden, Denmark and Bavaria enters the war to help their allies, but it's too late for them. Defeat Bavaria using your grenadiers and rockets, and let them march towards Britain after. As for your main force, separate the generals from the other units. The generals should continue capturing cities in Russia, while the other units go make a blockade in the Baltic shores, preventing Sweden and Denmark from ever landing in mainland Europe.Your other forces from Tbilisi should be already in Moscow, or near it. Send some lancers and grenadiers to help them out. Keep blasting cities, and they should fall easily. After you defeated Russia, send your units to capture Scandinavia, which should be easy after they exhausted their resources. Send them to Britain afterwards, and Britain too should fall. Disband all your unneeded units, then send all your units to Greenland, then Canada.
Turn 61 beyond:
The reason i consider this medium is not because it's more difficult than the earlier turns, but rather because you'll get frustrated on what happens in America. I'll just post 2 pictures to show my point :
I started donating 500-600 gold to America at around turn 25. I stopped donating at around turn 40, after they seem to be winning. But then suddenly, at turn 62, i've been greeted by this scenario. Canada, who initially was losing, was for some god knows what reason, was able to capture 4 major US cities, with only canadian militias. Thank god for the Brazilians, who was able to eventually defeat the Mexicans.
Back to the guide, just capture Greenland, then go capture Canada. Then send your units to capture some remaining Mexican cities.
Why i got 96 turns: USA. But i guess i could have continued donating to them, if that would have helped. Or i should have sent units immediately towards the US.
Generals used: Blucher, Karl, Massena, weak Murat and a weak Mahmud II
Afterword :
Although i used 5 generals, 2 of them were weak and pretty much cannon fodder. Just remember that the Ottomans have Mamluk Cavalry, which is really useful. The ottomans have a lot of economy and resources at the get go, and all your allies except for the US will win ( Just donate some resources to the Algerians.) Overall, pretty easy, compared to the 1812 Ottomans.
