This is a relatively easy campaign for most beginners, but for the sake of people who need help here is a guide for it. I used no generals but full technology, however my technology doesnt matter at all for the strategy for this mission. Use all your starting units to retake the city belonging to the germans. At this time you should also be using your naval units to clear off the enemies'. Once the german city in UK is taken your troops will have a morale boost, so this is v useful fro your naval units to clear off the english channel, and you cruiser can lower the health of the furthest city away. land as shown in the image above with your troops. Taking the next city should be easy. You can ignore rundstedt by not putting your troops near to him, and in turn he will not come out to attack you. Now for the western city with the general, just surround him to apply rumour and sluggishly hit at him, use howitzers and light/medium tanks for your offensive. defend your other cities during your advance as some units may sneakily attack your taken cities. If you do not score 3 stars, and wish to retry this mission later on with higher tech and better generals, one possible strategy you could attempt is to land in the middle city, then sending half your troops to the east and vice versa for the west, which will be more efficient.

if you have a general you may choose to place him either on the double stacked cruiser or the double stacked medium tank, even though the tank seems the more viable option, having the english channel cleared of german uboats faster is helpful in letting your land units land in france faster.
