Due to lack of time, I'm going to only do the front part for this guide for today and continue maybe tmr. So, as hungary 1939, it isnt a trash 1 star country per se, but it is in a pretty weak position with an iffy general, but wait, horthy only comes in 1943 and 1950, so no generals! Compared to Finland or Thailand that is pretty sad. So what you need to do first is to maximise your income before attacking the soviet union. No generals required, but ok technology is recommended, where you at least have some basic upgrades.
Over here, the bulk of france and many polish cities have been parasniped by me, and after you secure at least 4 or 5 cities you may start to advance towards both leningrad and donetsk. Rokossovsky will come down to attack, but your german allies should be able to do a very good job of holding him off, and you will be able to easily take leningrad, minsk and donetsk, and start repelling the russian counterattack from moscow and advance with your italian and romanian allies to stalingrad. Do not worry about kiev as the german generals model and keitel will lower its hp for you to conveniently land your paratroops there. The key for this early part is to prioritise parasniping, and after you secure a good number of cities and saved up a bit, combine medium tanks and howitzers to both defend and attack. As Hungary without generals, the easy part is where you get carried by your allies, and after that its pretty much you running the show. After repelling roko and zhukov take moscow, and at this point the russian defence shld have crumbled enough for you to lead the offensive into russia. Same goes for stalingrad where you head towards india, and afterwards the whole of south east asia. That part is very easy to accomplish, and this eastern cleanup is common in conquests like germany and romania as well. However, invading Britain, securing naval dominance and attacking usa might be a little tricky, so Ill explain how you can do that best as Hungary in my next post.
