Like Emmanuel IV, he is a really good general that unfortunately isn’t purchasable. At least Emmanuel is playable.

I still wouldn’t get this guy even if I could buy him.

I still wouldn’t get this guy even if I could buy him. Even if he was king rank at max?

I still wouldn’t get this guy even if I could buy him. Even if he was king rank at max? Personally, I would get him. I’d rather buy him over Lan. She’s great, but I’m a guy that values Aura a lot. Yes, Kevin, I overrate it. Yes, Kevin, you can bash me.

It's not so much that I don't like Aura. I just that I don't like most of the people who has it. What do you mean by “don’t like most of the people who has it”? Aura is pretty awesome. I just consider a good terrain skill (plain in particular) to be even better. I like Lannes and Bismarck more than Massena and Barclay, and Scharnhorst more than Alex and Mahmud. Another thing I don’t like about auras is that they only really shine if you clump your generals together. I only use one or two infantry per mission/conquest and usually also only one or two artillery. And they often need to be far from eachother.

An aura general leading a swarm (Like Massena leading some grenadiers) can be pretty devastating. But I see where you’re coming from. You’re someone that assigns various generals to handle various fronts.

I agree, but keeping two infantry generals together is not that hard of a task to manage. Having lannes and bismarck together instead of karl and massena means sacrificing two assualt skills. However, having karl and bismarck is a perfectly understandable combo as they compliment each other very well. But if you clump 3 auras together, the common militia (for infantry) around you will hit for 60 more damage than they are supposed to, which is really op
