Deploy your best tank gen on the super tank and 2nd best on the heavy tank, best arty gen on the RA and 2nd best on the howitzer, and your weakest gen on the medium tank (can be Nimitz, any navy gen or Messe). Next build a Power Plant in the starting city to ensure good income. Now, move your super tank and medium tank towards the northern battlefield and everyone else to the southern battlefield. On Turn 2, spawn either a 2X heavy tank or 3X RA for the 3rd best gen you have. (Can be arty or tank). _______________________________________________________________ Deployment Note: - If you have 3 tank gens, 3 arty gens and 1 or 0 navy gens, deploy 3rd tank gen on starting heavy tank and 3rd arty gen on newly trained 3X RA. - If you have 3 tank gens, 2 arty gens and 1 navy gen, the navy gen is deployed on the starting heavy tank while 3rd tank gen is deployed on newly spawned 2X heavy tank. - If you have 4 tank gens, 2 arty gens and 1 or 0 navy gens, deploy 4th tank gen on starting heavy tank while 3rd tank gen is mobilised in newly trained 2X heavy tank. ______________________________________________________________ Northern Battlefield: Nonetheless, the starting super and medium tanks will defend the central base against Vatutin and Rokossovsky. If the base is defenceless, let Guderian occupy it and defend it directly. Afterwards, train 1X motorised inf to guard the city, while your two tanks advance towards the lvl 3 city with your allies. Work with your allies to take the city, then to attack Timoshenko and Stalingrad from the north. The medium tank will guard the lvl 3 city until the your forces return to attack the northeast city. Lastly, occupy Stalingrad, with Guderian or 2nd best tank gen as far as possible if they have more than half their HP bar left. Otherwise, send an almost dead unit to take the city, attack a nearby enemy to kill it off and train a heavy tank in Stalingrad. When all the Soviet troops around Stalingrad have been defeated, advance on the northeast city. You can drop paratroopers around the lvl 2 target city to speed up the process. Southern Battlefield: Move the remaining bulk of your troops to help the Romanians and Hungarians. Try to break through the Soviet forces to recover the Romanian city. The loss of the Romanian city gives Paulus' troops a morale drop. The newly deployed gen in the starting city will also join this battle. Beat back the Soviets, and try to defeat Vasilevsky who will move slightly towards Stalingrad to be in a better position to attack the Hungarians. Defeating him gives Paulus' forces a morale boost. Train a 1X motorised inf to guard the recaptured Romanian city. Ignoring the lvl 3 city, march towards Stalingrad from the south. Do remember to defeat any troops heading towards your rear.

messe is a fine substitution for vatutin, and this can be done without leeb.

Hardest WW2 Europe mission in my opinion. Even in Destination Berlin Hard, you can spam nukes, and in Conquer Europe Hard, the Soviets won't send that massive swarm towards you if you don’t capture the city with the Level III Anti-Air Gun. But here, you need to fight a ton of strong units at the same time. Paulus is much harder to keep alive than in the Normal version.

Also, some luck because if Paulus dies, there is a high chance that it will ruin your attack.
