Letting Rommel and Kesselring carry is a smart move in this campaign if you lack any generals.  take the city beside alexandra with ease. Graziani will not be too useful (sorry Cyrus the Great haha), so just rely on rommel and friends to settle the other southern cities. Your naval units should try to hold off the metiderranean fleet first and allow your allied reinforcements to land safely, before you start spamming submarines to take out Mountbatten. Those reinforcements are very helpful so keep them safe at all costs.  Attack alexandra with rommel whilst stealing ai cities for income. Take alexandra and support rommel as he destroys montgomery and heads for cairo.  at this point the afrika corps would have annihilated the allied forces, and all you have to do is to either send troops to help rommel, or let him pummel cairo himself while you parasnipe it. No generals needed as relying on the two german generals from your ai for this one is fine. |

Thanks for the post ! Well thought. I wonder how you might manage to post a guide for harder missions like Destination Berlin without any generals, if you intend to do so.

Hello, thanks for the compliment! Destination Berlin is really a tough nut to crack, and I did a only one general clear in my guide european-war-4.boards.net/thread/9590/destination-berlin-hard with vatutin on the super heavy tank which you can definitely replace with Messe. Without any generals it will be pretty tough considering the many high damage and health generals you have to slowly eliminate until you reach the final part where you direct all fire on Manstein. Do you have any generals? |
