One event worth mentioning happens as soon as Kiev is captured: The Germans' moral drops and all the units in the north-west try to take back Kiev. This will make it a lot easier to fight Greim and take his city later. Manstein is going to obliterate Vatutin and he will probably take Voronezh and Karkiv. That's why we send our best/fastest tank general to take back these cities.
Everybody is sent to Kiev and the small city in front of it (allows construction of tier 3 industry units). Only Leeb with his double stacked Rocket Artillery helps Konev to defeat Bock and slow down Manstein.
I saved up some resources to build another heavy tank. Also the port was taken because the Germans left it unguarded. Manstein (top right) is in Voronezh.
Guderian chases after Manstein who is now in Kharkiv but also below 50% health. Voronezh is again under our control and the German counter offensive against Kiev has begun. How about another heavy tank there ?:-)
Greim is about to die and Manstein's forces are dwindling.
Reconquered Kharkiv and now pushing towards north-western city.
One more move and the mission is completed.
