i don't know how useful an auto-conquest will be in gcr, but i have tried to develop one i used massylli because it is safe next to carthago. First I attacked my neighbor with Carthage and took a province. then I put it on automatically, and sent my beginners gen to spain and my commander to tunis. then I made two mistakes number 1: I did not send any money to the neutral country in the top right corner, this made a lot of difference, because I did not fully control the Balkans because they were going to support the Romans. number 2: i didn't send troops to libya / egypt this ensured that macedonia was mainly concerned with the sea if I could have turned them off I would still have had the balkan under control. this is how it looks now, I will let it continue and report it if I still win. I certainly think it's possible, but I don't know if this will work I only now see that the country from the top right corner is neutral again, maybe I have a chance

First game. Manual. I captured another city in Africa with my starting troops. In next 25 turns I developed cities, Residential areas, Military camps. I built four units (5 regiments), two swordsmans (Spartacus and Pompey), Light cavalry (Hannibal), Bowmen (Caesar). I sent those units in Spain. I captured Spain, Gaul and Genoa, but Rome in this time captured Balkans, Illyria , Carthage, my cities in Africa. After that I left the game.
Second game. Pure autoconquest from beginning. Carthage lost.
I play on ipad (ios)

You'll find out what Your units are good to counter this or that enemy. Pure force against force is not suitable for ET games. Enemies outnumber Your forces greatly. While defending use all possible advantagies. Units in water lose most of its defence and attack power. Don't let them land. Block the shore with Your own units. Encircled units (even with two of Your units) lose their morale and consequently deff and attack. Use it. Etc. Do not think that buying IAP will solve Your problems. It is not about ET games...

I don't know it can be that easytech changed things but I Will take a look this week Another experience (manual, ios) I tried to play as Allobroges (Nothern Gaul, ally of Rome, two initial cities). I sent all the troops in Spain. But in turn 25 Illiryans captured Nothern Italy, Rome lost anywhere. After that I left the game.

it didn't work for me Yeah, I don't remember GC:R being too friendly for auto conquest. You'll just have to manually deal with your enemies.
