It was my understanding, they removed the turn limit. However, I do not believe anyone has any guides on the missions yet considering it has been a whopping 4 days since release.

I have seen a few people say something about turn limits being removed but that is not true, not sure how it started. They got rid of the 3 star system from WC4 if thats what people mean. But they didn't really get rid of it, just repackaged it. There is still a base turn limit to complete the primary objective. There are also 2 secondary objectives. In order to get the full rewards from each mission you need to complete all 3 objectives within the time limit. However, you will often find that one of the secondary objectives is to complete the primary objective with less turns than normally allowed. Overall I like this system better as you can choose to ignore secondary objectives and just do whats needed to move on and come back later when your stronger, but its still basically the same ‘beat the clock’ system as before, especially when a secondary objective is an additional time limit.

Just got three stars. The economic goal (1300) is achieved by capturing cities with economic centres. As some have mints you need to activate irrigation straightaway. Then activate trade route. You also need two quarries and have metallurgy activated. Do not be tempted by the riches of Numantia. Spawn auxiliaries to keep assets safe and the population count up.
The order of cities I took was first the two nearest (mint and quarry) and then the northern cities. The NW city was taken after my allies did the dirty work - have an aux. at the ready to nip in and take it from under their noses.
Using Destroy to aid city capture is standard fare.
