It's not as difficult as people think, but that statement is not true for all 1 star nations. Some are harder, some easier. It all depends on the location, the initial units given, etc. I'll be making individual guides for each 1 star nation, and will just pin them on a future conquest guide i will make. I would also make a more in-dept guide for conquests with some examples and visual aids . I 'll just give a short, general guide for 1 star nations . Goal of a 1 star nation in terms of importance: 1.Survive (resource management) 2.Remove the closest and weakest threat near you 3.Bribe other nations The end goal is to win. And to win, you must weigh the pros and cons. As a 1 star nation, you will be given low lvl cities(or city), weak units, and have low economy. That is bad, but 1 star nations have some advantages. First and foremost, bribing costs are low, making it so you can bribe multiple nations for the early turns. Second is that you have only a few cities to defend, so don't have to bother looking at your cities a lot. Also, most 1 star nations have only a few nearby enemies, and most of them are weak, so that's good. The biggest enemy of a 1 star nation(or all nations in general, but it's a more urgent concern to 1 star nations) is managing resources. When playing a 1 star nation, prioritize defeating the nearest enemy than bribing. This means using your resource to defeat your enemy rather than using all of them to bribe the enemy. Bribe a neutral nation and 1 ally/enemy, and you're good to go. Tip is to be proactive in the early rounds. Don't be afraid to lose a general when attacking cities. It's good tho if you can keep them alive. But it's better to let your general die that to just keep them alive and do nothing. Bad advice in real life, good advice in this game. Don't blame me tho if you sacrifice all your generals and didn't win. That wasn't the point . That's it. Short, explains the strategy but doesn't go in to detail. There will be a more detailed and longer guide in the future.

I beat conquest as massyli doing absolutely nothing. I ended up with only 25 medals I believe, but quite a bit of gold. Its a good conquest to farm for gold.

First guide for the 1 star nation is gonna be Macedonia. Gives me a lot of opportunity to explain how this works. Should i show it without gens, with, or both?

I'm done trying out Bithynia Kingdom and Boii(Yeah) for the Caesar time conquest. I will make 2 separate guides later for each of them. They're interesting because they are more complex, thus making it more interesting to look upon.

Saltin , conquests will definetely raise a lot of questions and guides request from the players as now players would like to complete every country to recieve a reward. Is it time for a separate board for conquests?
