mrvije,go for the cities on the sides first, while killing as much enemy units as possible. It's harder to defend the right flank, so just keep them still. For your left flank, conquer all the cities on your left, then go for Alesia lastly. Plague it every time Plague is available, and when you have the culture needed.

I got 3 stars with a archer commander, Belisarius, Pompey, Drusus, and Pacorus. This one felt like a bit of a mess. Enemies everywhere and I was just making my units move around trying to secure the cities. I did take the city on the right. Early on Antony says we should attack Alesia but then enemy reinforcements appear soon after to attack while I was focussing on Alesia. Still this felt like a epic and fitting battle to end the Gallic Wars
