I tried this conquest because it looked difficult but i had curisity. In fact, is surprisingly simple i have realised that the IA (at least in Punic wars conquest) is very aggressive and doesnt care their cities. In addition the strongest unit of carthage are in hispania no in North Africa.
1. Take out Massylii
Is easy just rush Cirta with two units of infantry from dimmidi with a general(i used Vercingetorix) . The defenders will ignore your troops and go to your city straight. Just get the city and remove them from the map
2. Destroy carthaginian economy
Go north to Iol with the cav from diimidi and conquer it. From Cydamus go to Lepcis with the archer and the infantry (i put my default commander inthe inf). Arae Philaenorum should be taken out by Cyrene.
3. Hold the conquered cities
Carthage will attack you little by little so it should be easy to hold. Iol will suffer do to the Turdetani and carthaginians coming from hispania.
4. Conquer North Africa.
Eventually Carthage will lose strength and when they stop sending troops you should send you troops from Lepcis to Capsa and your troops from Cirta to Capsa and join forces, finnaly go for Cathage
I dont recommend going for Tingis, is strong and is far away i tried sebdig troops and they didnt end well, go once you have conquered the rest of Africa
5. Win the game
At this point Hispania should be weak and your allies will enter hispania without too much problems and the Balcans should be destroyed by rome. Now you can help with Syracuse, go to greece, help with hispania or just go auto
I used Vercingetorix and my default commander.
I didnt bribe and i always paid Scordici.
