 I've been going through a lot of 1-star conquests, and I stumbled through Massalia, which didn't seem like an optimal speedrun candidate, so I figured that I should try to auto-conquest with it. I was confident in Massalia being able to auto conquest because it has a relatively safe location, and it only costs 23 gold if i remember correctly to bribe each nation the first time, and you start off with 400. I know that my final result wasn't pretty, as 89 turns is pretty long for an auto-conquest, but I'm sure that result would be improved if I refine my strategy a bit. I bribed the following countries in turn 1:    I sent all my starting units to Cantabri, and helped Pompey take them out, then I went on to split my army to Lusitani and Volcae, where all my units died. I didn't care to build another army because it's supposed to be an auto-conquest. By turn 20, Crassus and Egypt were doing really well in Asia Minor, perhaps because most of my money and destroys went there. However, Caesar and Pompey were basically at a stalemate. Illyria joined by they were taken out soon. I got Pirates to join the war but they didn't help at all. I stopped donations and destroying cities and just skipped turns, occasionally accepting protocols from the neutral nations. Crassus and Egypt were overwhelming the Eastern side of the map, so by the time they approached Gaul, the conquest was quickly over. The entire process took me 89 turns and about an hour in real life. Way longer than Netherlands in 15 minutes  . Nevertheless, i barely put in any effort into this, and discovered one of the easiest conquests so far. Here's a couple more screenshots in my run.    I would probably bribe Dacia and Suebi twice, and bribe all my allies in early if I'm gonna try this next time. There are just too many possibilities for who to bribe. stoic, Deleted, andrei, and others, please try testing this and let me know if this auto-conquest is replicable. |

It is a very interesting attempt and I'll try it as well, but the question is whether we really need additional gold or not. Yeah, I presume some upgrades will be quite expensive, but we have new campaigns, new conquests, rewards and daily missions. For example, now I am forced to buy all available items simply because I am very close to the maximum amount of gold. When I sell this trash after an update I'll have around 40 000 plus my 60 000.

Yup, gold isn't needed that much rn, considering that most items bought by gold are downright bad. |

 This is my try of massalia campaign. Actually once you defeated the Liberian regions and volare clan. And a bit off aveni you can start auto-conquest. Just remember to donate to our boi crauss to help them in their war effort. I only bribe suebi and Dacia empire and the tribe that have the northeastern France once because I want to build up my poor economy first. |

Just a side note when i was during this campaign. The situation at the start is very bleak. " I didn't expect to be over in such short amount of time. My brave general are dying. My territory getting invaded. My brain-dead ally are going down soon.my enemy ask me to come of my city to ask for peace. I know this is a trap but what is there for me lose now?" Sun liren, yup, allies are stupid. Ai is pretty similar to EW6 Ai, but a bit better. Still annoying tho.

AI is stupid yeah but they have came from a long way though. Anyone remember WC3? Germany barely invaded Poland and after some time you see USSR or Britain in Berlin. Or Mexicans in Tokyo? Yeah I dont miss that

stoic , these small tribes are very fun! You don't need to conquer whole world, but it anyway depends from You how successful Your faction is. You have to fight in Your parochial tribe wars and to provide the victory of great Rome Really fun!
