Early-game
research imperial guard and upgrade 1 villa to make your economy peacefull. attack with 2 generals and burebista scordisci and use a general to defend your south front against attacks from byzantium. bribe roxolani to ensure that pontus is not attacked in the back by armenia. donate money to: pontus, odrysian kingdom, parthian empire and countries in the west (i didn't do this myself and now octavian is loosing against cantibri and the gallians).
Mid-game
After defeating scordisci, it's now time to send your armies to Boii. probably you now have enough support to beat them without too much effort, a perfect moment to donate. donate resources to: lepidus, nabataean, pontus and sugambri. I have paid illyria to support me but I would not recommend this.
Mid/late-game
divide the troops who have defeated boii: half will continue towards galia, the other half will help odrysian and octavian to conquer greece. now attack byzantium. donate money to: lepidus, sugambri, nabataean and octavian.
Late-game
send the troops in southern greece to egypt, send the troops in galia to iberia and send the troops in byzantium / turkey via turkey to the middle east
