I keep thinking of Stuart Chatwood when I see this guy. Stuart Chatwood is the composer of Darkest Dungeon. A game most of you will notice I've been talking about. (Really fun game though).

So far I have found him really useful to move around with the free generals on a throwaway unit, to boost their output

Problem is that aura skills don't stack so you often just need 1. Also I don't like the idea of a "supporting" unit that only buffs damage. You could have 3 people hit hard instead of 2 people hit even harder and 1 hitting badly. McClellan is the #2 cavalry only behind Ludendorff and he has aura though so we don't really need a support general like that.

If you get McCellan, no need for ludendorf or another aura. I was also wondering if I should pick Stonewall Jackson or Sidney Johnson.

When did you get McClellan?
I got stonewall for free, and got stuart as my third general. I then bought Hotzendorf, as I felt I sorely needed artillery. I feel like Stuart is a good choice for ease of use, but not for min-max. Missions definitely are easier with that aura while I don't have enough medals to buy McClellan, and I haven't yet felt like I was starved for coins, granted I am only at the fourth campaign.
I also would say there is a use to having two aura generals, as they can benefit units other than just the one they are attached to.

Don't worry I am playing for a weak or so and because medals are on every corner in this game I literally don't know what to do with them I already have 18 generals and can buy whoever I want, but I am not sure whether they are better than my current first team. So, in due time you can purchase any general you like... Rather every general you like
