Generals used: Guderian, Konev, Nimitz, Graziani, Leeb and Rommel. Tech/generals maxed, except for Leeb.
Starting out with Egypt, I keep all my land units where they are, with the exception of the unit next to Damascus, which I move to Cairo to assist in the Italian units attacking.
I move my starting sub to attack the Italian naval units, and move my destroyer west along the coast where the land comes to a point. Next turn it will sneak over and take the Italian port.
From there and your port, spam single or double stacked subs and send them out to attack enemy units and capture other ports. Capturing the Mediterranean ports is critical to the success of your conquest. When I had the funds, I built two double stacked cruisers at the port by Italy and put Nimitz and Graziani on it.
The first 15-20 turns is defense from enemy land and naval units coming from Italy, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary. This will include enemy generals.
Turn 1

After the Italian units in Africa are destroyed, move west to capture Italian cities, then set up defense from any Spanish units.
Turn 15

In the meantime, move Nimitz around Greece attacking any units in the water. I kept Graziani at the Italian port until after Greece was defeated. After that I move both generals to attack Greece, then used fighters to finish off the enemy unit and paratrooped. I built a Military Academy there, built a triple stacked medium tank and put Guderian on it, then I built two triple stacked howitzers, and put Konev and Leeb on them.
Turn 30

After capturing Greece, I moved Graziani and Nimitz up to attack Bulgaria's cities to make it easier and quicker for Guderian, Konev and Leeb. After defeating Bulgaria, I mow through the Romanian city north of it, and go straight for Hungary. The goal was to eliminate the smallest countries first. After that I continued attacking Romania, then moved Guderian, Konev and Leeb into German territory.
After defeating Bulgaria I turned Nimitz and Graziani around to attack Rome and other Italian cities. Once the hp of the cities were 0 I used fighters to finish off the enemy unit and paratrooped the cities.
Turn 46

Once I had Rome, I built a Command Center and built a triple stacked heavy tank and put Rommel on it. I moved him to attack Milan, then over to Lyons and Marseilles. After that I moved him east to attack the Japanese city in the image.
I moved Guderian, Konev and Leeb to continue the assault on German cities, moving to Berlin. From there I moved Leeb toward Leningrad, Guderian to Copenhagen and Oslo and Konev West towards Amsterdam, Bruxelles, then Paris.
Turn 61

Rommel reaches his Japanese town, but little do the Japanese and Thai's know I am now missile capable. Pushing them back to their mainland is easy using missiles, strategic bombers and paratroopers. I worked to eliminate Thailand first, than I dealt with mainland Japan.
Just be sure to put strong units on the cities because Japans massive naval fleet can kill them within a few turns. You might lose a city or two while working on Thailand. Don't worry, you'll get it back.
After eliminating the enemy from land and their land units, I move land units next to the ports they still have, i pass the turn then begin using strategic bombers and missiles to destroy the naval unit, then move my land unit into the port.
