Generals used: Guderian, Rommel, Graziani, Konev, Leeb. Tech/generals maxed, except for Leeb.
Starting off as Greece 1950, this at first was a difficult conquest to figure out, but I think I may have solved it.
We start off with a unit with general Papagos on it. I kept him in the city for one or two turns. After that, i moved him north one tile and built a triple stacked rocket artillery and put Konev on it. He will defend Athens while we save funds.
Through the first several turns, I kept my eye on Rokossovsky. At turn 7 he began moving toward Poland.
After I built Konev, I moved Papagos west one tile on the following turn. Konev will first target the tanks, especially the starting ones with triple rank.
A turn later, not much changes
A couple turns later I move Papagos into the water. He will move to take the Italian port and stay for a couple turns until a destroyer on the African coast is destroyed.
Once the destroyer is dead, I move Papagos south to the African coast on French territory. I kept Konev in Athens until he had about 250-300 hp left, than I moved him into the water. He will join Papagos and other allies in attacking Egypt.
After Konev goes into the water, I had enough funds to build a double stacked heavy tank and i put my best general on it, Guderian. He'll defend Athens until he hits 150-200 hp, then Rommel will defend.
Next general to defend was Rommel, on a single heavy. A couple turns later I hit Istanbul and had Rommel take it and Guderian sit on Athens.
Meanwhile in Africa, Papagos and Konev were attacking Egypt with British, Spanish and French allies.
From Istanbul, Rommel will hit any units within range as well as the bunker.
After a couple more turns, I send Guderian into the water and built a single stacked heavy and put Graziani on it.
After I had enough funds for rocket artillery, I moved Graziani and Rommel to attack Bulgaria. I built a triple stacked rocket artillery in Athens and put Leeb on it. He'll defend from any nearby units.
After Bulgaria is defeated, Poland began sending a few units, so I slowly pressed my way to the Romanian city. Once I had that, Rommel was low on hp so i moved him into Soviet territory where there were no units, and attacked the northern Romanian city. Graziani and Leeb would join a couple turns later.
After pushing Egypt out of Africa, Papagos and Konev cross the water to finish them off. In Damascus, I built a triple stacked heavy tank to assist them in attacking Iraq, then after I moved to the southeast town in Iran, then finally Tehran.
Once Romania was defeated, I finished off Hungary, then fought off some Polish spam.
From this point my income was good enough that I began using strategic bombers and paratroopers to finish off Poland and begin work on the Soviet Union.
Once I had Kiev, I was able to do some missiling in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. It went pretty fast.
I first worked Siberia to the coast, after some healing I had Graziani and Konev work western PRC. After that was some light PRC spam. Everything else was strategic bombers and missiles.
And we win. The first 30 turns is battles across Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary. The rest was 27 more turns.
I am curious to see how others do, so if you try Greece, let me know how you do.
