Here is how I did it with no additional generals, 17 turns total: (Note that the numbers are not necessarily turn numbers, but merely the orders in which I took them)
#1.
* Use Murat and co. to rescue Ney; focus on the cavalry to Ney's left.
* Use Napoleon, Davout and co. to take Dresden and move to pressure Jena
* Use Augerau and co. to take Brunswick
* Use ships to take out the cavalry unit in Kiel
* Upgrade cities
#2.
* Once Ney recovers from confusion, pull him back to Dresden and let him rest there
* Take Jena, and send Murat towards Berlin to take out the fort
* Send Augerau towards Berlin to provide support, and split his army to send a unit or two towards Oldenburg as well.
* Use ships to take out the Danish port
* Upgrade cities
#3.
* Pull back and consolidate near Jena, which will most likely fall. Start producing guards at Dresden, and fight a war of attrition against the Prussians.
* Use Augerau to capture Oldenburg, then send him to capture Kiel
* Napoleon should probably fall back towards Wiesbaden by this point, since he should be low. He can return to the battlefield once he has about half-hp later.
* Davout will likely be the main source of firepower at this point.
* Move ships down the Kattegat, take out the coast artillery
#4.
* Verdun, Wiesbaden, and Dresden should all be Tier-6 cities by this point, as well as whatever upgrades that were invested in Oldenburg/Jena.
* Take Jena, continue pushing Northwards towards Berlin, use Murat to take out the fort to the right. Start producing light artillery at Brunswick, and move the Guard production from Dresden to Jena.
* Russians should have started, or have already landed by this point
* Send Augerau back into Germany, take out the Russian artillery if possible. Let him play a bit until your main army is in range of Berlin.
* Circle ships around Copenhagen towards the Baltic Sea, then attempt to use them to bombard enemy units near the coast
#5.
* Attempt to let the Russian armies flank the left of the main army, so they free up valuable space that can be used to sncircle Berlin
* Capture Berlin.
* Take out Ferdinand.
* Victory

Sad thing is though, the French/Coalition campaigns are the only ones that I can really give advice on because all the other campaigns require generals, and my generals are simply too powerful to be used in a guide. Even if I took off my items to compensate, their hp would still be probably too high. So, basically, if you have anything to ask between those two, do so freely I guess.

got more help on this CREDIT TO General Grant This strategy worked well for me, though your style may vary. I apologize in advance, but I intentionally made this very detailed, since most guides I've read on here aren't detailed enough.
Upgrade your cities and take Dresden in Round 1 - lead with artillery attacks. You should also be able to heavily damage the infantry at Brunswick, the heavy cavalry west of Ney, and the heavy artillery by itself in the center (use Napoleon). For some reason, the Prussians rarely attack Ney, so you can get him out of there in a round or two. Stick him on a city for while. You should be able to take Brunswick in Round 2, Jena by 3 or 4 at most.
Until you take Oldenburg and Kiel, pound on them with your Frigates (did you forget about them? I did until Round 3...) You should be able to take Oldenburg about Round 5, Kiel about Round 7, then send the frigates around Denmark. If you feel like it, you can even take the Danish port and even Copenhagen by about Round 11 - I only needed the two frigates and one grenadier general to do all that (the general is needed for capturing Copenhagen, and more importantly, taking out the naval fort with minimal damage to the frigates). The frigates can be very helpful in fending off the eventual Russian reinforcements, if it takes you too long to wipe out the target generals.
Once you've taken Jena, have those troops mop up any forward Prussian troops - no more will advance - but do NOT engage the Prussian fortresses yet!!! Build up artillery from Brunswick and infantry from upgraded Jena and/or Dresden until ready to engage. You should be able to take the stable NW of Berlin by Round 7 or 8 by looping around from the west.
Meanwhile, have your eastern forces (I used Murat, Davout, and a few cannon fodder) take out the mobile Austrian troops; since they will attack you in waves, you can take each unit out with minimal losses. Once you take Brunn, swing north - ignore the Austrian fortresses on the map border (why are they there, anyway?). LURE Blucher southeastward beyond the eastern fortress, surround and destroy him, THEN take on the fortress. Beware of artillery being generated from the factory east of Berlin.
About the same time you're taking on Blucher, you should be able to surround and destroy the western fortress. At this point, you are performing a giant pincer movement, with Berlin in the middle. Take out the infantry behind Scharnhorst first - they may advance, which is nice. Even better is the fact that Scharnhorst will NOT attack you! He will counterattack, of course, but he NEVER attacked me first until I took out every single other unit west of Warsaw. He doesn't have much HP, but his attacks are devastating - siege artillery were ineffectual, so just surround and pound.
I won in Round 13, but I used 2 purchased generals (on the starting lvl 2 guard infantry and lvl 2 heavy artillery) and 2 princesses (I saved up and bought Sophia a lvl 2 guard cavalry, and stuck Fatima on the light infantry at Verdun for income generation). However, none of them are very strong yet - 3 chevrons (+36 HP) max.
Tips: - You have 2 generals with Assault Art (Murat on Guard Cavalry, Davout on Heavy Artillery) - you can save and reload before each attack they make until they use it. Using proper blocking, you can take out even the strongest enemy general in a round or two using these two... together, they can deal out 150+ damage per turn! - If you have a high-trade general, send him to Danzig and buy the Snare Drum (has the same effect as Mass Fire, but for ANY kind of unit). If you don't, you can still send Napoleon (lvl 3 trade) there and buy it for 555 medals. You can save before killing Scharnhorst, kill him and beat the map in the time limit, then reload and take your time getting to Danzig. - Netherland troops are useless aside from drawing fire from the Prussians between Brunswick and Oldenberg. Don't count on any help from them after that.

Wow, thirteen turns? I feel so bad now, haha.
I think the crucial difference was that he managed to hold onto Jena while I lost it and had a *Auto corrected* of a time taking it back (I even lost Ney here, actually). Not sure where the difference in firepower comes from though; perhaps he upgraded cities less than I did, I'm not sure. Could've also been the extra generals, I suppose.
Where does General Grant post this stuff anyway? I don't think I've seen him on these forums.

Oops,Khurram ok done,I added you.I didnt see the request because I rarely use FB and it's basically just to promote our forums Staff Seargent promotion looks good! Not sure if you have seen it but here is the system we use: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/149/avatar-starsDoesnt do much,but can it still can be fun to watch progression. @anon yeap 13 turns sound very short,pro's play.He noted he upgraded cities turn one and since he kept Jana that might have also helped with ressources too. Also added Dmytro video for reference .

I know this is an old post, but I have some advice to add. If you send Napoleon to Kiel, the Russians will get distracted and go after him. Then when they get close, flee up Denmark and escape!

It’s just quite easy to take Jena and save ney. Scharnhost is not much of a problem if u have healthy gens. I just spam arty from Brunswick then kill Ferdinand. Done 5 stars
