Refer to my guide on Switzerland 1806 ( european-war-4.boards.net/thread/1388/conquest-picard-episode-switzerland-1806 ) as a companion piece, I used very similar tactics Generals: Isabela Massena Davout Moreau Lannes Poniatowski Qajar (Fired mid-game) 1st off: Deploy your disposable Econ guy (Qajar for me, since Architecture is what you want and I have Napoleonic code) on the light artillery, and bring him to Zurich. Steal Stuttgart and Karlsruhe (s&l to ensure Rhine stays with you) and then upgrade them (Karlsruhe first) build a double light Art in Karlsruhe soon as you can for a general (Moreau) and send him towards Austria. Then fight the attacking generals and take Prague. Use it for a build of double Armored Car. Soon, build Double heavy Cav for a general (Poniatowski) to send to Sardinia->Tunisia->Spain. Eventually, fire the Econ guy and you'll have: 1 Heavy Cav for Spain (Poniatowski) 1 Light art for Austria->Russia (Moreau) 1 Armored Car for Austria->Balkans->Spain (Lannes, saved me a turn in Spain) 1 Rocket to repel Prussian western attack->Holland->GB (Isabela) 1 Rocket for Prussia->Russia (Davout) 1 Armored Car for Prussia->Russia (Massena) The approximate routes given are the ones to follow. Remember to send a couple normal troops across France to Iberia to supplement Poniatowski's attack from Morocco. You should finish Russia, then GB, then Spain. Maps will come soon-ish

You can only deploy around 6 generals so if you fire someone it wont add. It does not work like that.

In my experience: If you regroup a general while he's alive, it is as though you never used him If you regroup a dead general, you cannot use another to replace him
