Any help? I can't get to the yellow circles without my army being beaten

If I'm being completely honest, going for the yellow circles is kinda pointless. I myself have never reached them without getting caught. But really you don't even need any buffs. The enemy attacks in waves of a few units. Should be no problem wiping out each wave. Just make sure you're quick about it.

I complete this without reaching the yellow circle as well. It looked intimidating when the dialog came about us being caught and the final enemy wave receiving buffs but when you kill the enemy general (I think it was John II), the enemy receives a huge morale drop and its easy to wipe out them.

lol i did it both times with the yellow circles using aetius, cheap bronze tier gens with forced march and whatever units are closest to west side of the map. and its rly no challenge to prtoect the black prince. just retreat.

Going to yellow circles made sense for me- the only condition: cross the river and go north without crossing it back, then your troops would be invisible. After you get there - the enemy’s morale will start to decrease
