K,I wanna try something new.In this thread everyone is welcome to suggest what should be the banner tip of the week (the news ticker) for 1 line.
You can suggest as many as you want but only 1 item will be selected per week.The other ones might be selected a week later.
It will have your name on it.Criteria is simply that the tip has a good chance of being usefull/helpfull to someone, be it a new player or a pro.So when you submit a post here say why you think it's important.
After that we'll have an archive of tips that players can take a look at.
Update: You may also post tips for EW4, WC3, GoG2, and EW5

In Campaign mode, do not worry that much about the time limit, they often give you a lot more time than you actually need.

I disagree personally, i used to play with that mind set, i got stuck half way through the austrian campaign, but, what ever works for you.

Ok how about we settle on just saying that 999 turns is the limit in conquest mode?
That way we dont pass judgement we just inform,and that knowledge can be helpfull to somebody.

Max turn limit is 255 in campaign, from what i can tell

When making a unit, if the building is upgraded enough, you can click on the picture more than once to add health. However this will cost more, without increasing anything else.

In Campaign mode, you can choose up to 6 generals.

In WC3 you can get a country in conquest to surrender by only capturing all their cities.
