Defense is key. If you are looking to get the bonus plus 4 or 5 stars this isn't your answer. I got 2 stars and didn't get the bonus. I had Sophia, Fatimah, and Kate. Securing Denmark is your first order of business. Archduke C. and Fatimah ( I used to use her as cavalry general ) on the armored car with some soldiers was enough. While this happened, Radetzky defended the west from landing troops while Sophia protected Amsterdam from enemy generals. Don't bother trying to keep ports as they are too difficult to defend. After capturing Denmark's land leave their port unoccupied and use Radetzky to capture the westernmost port after 1. Landing generals have been killed. 2. The western battleship general has extended to Rotterdam. From there I got Kate on a battleship and used my generals and Sophia to attack the enemy battleships and was eventually able to defeat them. I don't know how I could have gotten the bonus. If you have better generals feel free to try and take him down. Hope this helps, good luck.

I did the quest 2 times. First time with 4 stars (and taking the last save to solve the yellow quest with 3 stars) and next time with 5 stars.
My generals: Isabella (army tent), Golitsyn (snare drum), Dobeln, Mortier
My strategy: There are 4 points of action: Belgium, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Denmark. I will handle each one on it's own
1) Belgium: I use Radetzky (already exists), 1 rocket lauchner, 1 heavy artillery, 1 infantry and build a low militia from time to time. Kill the ship in the harbour soon. Keep the artillery in distance and kill the ship coming into the harbour. Radetzky got defense art, so in case you take too many casualties, just reload. Warning: kill enemy rocket lauchers soon! They are the most dangerous units. Everything else is easy going. Hint: ships in the harbour dont attack on their own, they simply wait. Kill the others first
2) Amsterdam Isabella on heave artillery, Mortier on rocket laucher. Keep units in distance and kill most of them by artillery. Rocket launchers are great. Remember that ships in the harbour dont attack, wait here again Later(!) in game I put Dobeln on guard infantry. He is my main ship killer for the other main targets (generals on ship). The early infantries in that area are just to keep enemy busy. Golitsyn is nice, but I use him only later, because I dont have a could unit for him ready in early game.
3) Hamburg and Denmark Use 2nd level militia to keep enemy busy. Build it every round. Computer is stupid, so move around and get a first hold in Denmark. Use the 2 cavalries south of Hamburg to clear Denmark (get them on a ship and move them around. L.Bonaparte (was it him?) moves towards Hamburg and later to Denmark. When he arrives you will gain control up there.
General hints: some enemy main target units will arrive late on the battle field. That's why you need Dobeln on full strength for the end (and he will use mass fire, while taking heavy casualties)

Mountbatten you said you used to use Fatima on cavalry, do you use her on a different unit type now?

Yes I now have actual cavalry generals so whenever I can use 6 generals, I use her on militia and she stays in a city the entire time. Because of her Economic Master skill, it can increase income from 45 to 80 if I remember correctly. Or maybe that's with capital cities. Either way, with Napoleonic Code item she makes me quite a bit of money.

So if you have one, you can just give it to any injured general and let him rest in a city so you can have your Fatima come out for some action.

When I first saw the title I thought "Why the heck would somebody make a guide in German?" As soon as I saw the text I was kinda disappointed though. Expected a guide in German xD
