I did buy some items (note Alexander's speed), and this was after I leveled them up. For the market, replay it but use Alexander to destroy another wall and focus on killing those units instead of the objective.

In this campaign your ally is very usefull. It kills the north west for you. So only focus on the north east which you can reach by walking east.. inportant is to use the right unit vs the right enemy.moreover its important to kill and get spawn building in once so you have less enemies during your campaigns. If you finish 1 but dont occupy the barracks for example they will build and build and build.. this will be the same in further campaigns.. its something alliens did in gog2 also.. this means deaper strategy which i like tbh.

Pretty easy campaign actually. I forgot to recrute units so i did it with only those 4 (non-upgraded) starter generals
As above your allies will take care of the northwest.
When moving keep hannibal first, than alexander and than robin hood. Hanibal should kill the infantry units, alexander the archer units, and robin hood should range them. Leonidas can follow.
Than you get to the wall, the wall right has 1000 hp, the wall left has 180 hp. I think you can guess which one you should break. Kill the enemy archery general with alexander and leonidas. Finish the palace and win.
