Recommendations
Many people are seeing manstein as a great tank general, but in fact. Hes better on artillery, he is the only artillery dude with speed which makes him unreplacable. Here are some reasons:
1. 5 star movement
He is the only guy with 5 star movement capable of artillery skills. He moves faster than govorov and badoglio. The only guy that competes his movement is bai. But that guy got less output than him. This makes him unreplaceable. (Except for eye covered ofc)
2. Tank competition
There are a lot of tank generals in the game: guderian, patton, vatutin, rommel etc.. now do the same for artillery: ...
All artillery dudes lacks either output or movement. Manstein is the only artillery dude capeable of both
3. Zhukov
But why didnt you bought zhukov? Cause zhukov is crap, his skills are mixed up and just really crap. He also doesnt have mich movement. Eventough he has 5 stars, he os proven many times to lose on a 1v1 fight with manstein
4. How about his skills? And the fact he only has 4 stars in artillery?
Yes, he has 2 ranks skills: blitzkrieg and leader. But leader is useless anyways so thats not a reason to put him on tank. Only blitz remains. But his other skills are doable for artillery just like they are for tank.
And even though he only has 4 star in artillery, he has the second highest output from all artillery dudes with only govorov being higher. But govorov doesnt have movement and movement for artillery is really needed in the game. So that makes him the number 1 artillery general in game!
Erich von Manstein
High stars, high Explosive, high Plain Fighting, high movement... He is an awesome one, on all kinds of army units. Most recommended on artillery.
Most recommended for buying, second artillery/tank slot.
