Hey guys, After trying to complete NATO 4 mission "Sea Road" 3 times, to which all failed, I have come to the conclusion that I need the help of the community. How the hell do I complete this mission lol, my closest to completing it is having Baghdad on half health with my army about to take it, but I needed another turn or so, so it ended up failing. My tech and generals I'd say are pretty good, and about average for this level, so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks, Legendary2K2005

4th shot, this is my screenshot just before I hit end turn for the turn limit turn. Re-captured the south city, with Baghdad under siege AGAIN.... what am I doing wrong?

When you have Enough funds build nukes from the unnamed city you start with then use the Saudi Arabian City you need to take to drop all the nukes you have on the Iraq city and the Syrian city then either paratroop or send motorised infantry. This is how I did it, I spent near enough a week trying to do this hope this helps ?

I just attacked Egypt and from there attacked the Soviets with missiles. Idk what intricacies I did. Didn't have any trouble either but that's probably due to my OP generals

Thanks, I'll try this - I have neglected the use of nukes in both the WTO and NATO campaigns, so I guess it's time to start using them!

You are spending too much time capturing unnecessary cities. Focus only on the objective cities, by doing so I managed to finish in 10 turns.

You had such powerful generals and IDK how were you able to send Manstein to saudi arabia before Bagramayan wrecked it. And you had made it past guderian and yamamoto and also had Manstein on your back while the thread creator is just a beginner.

when I try to focus on the key cities, I end up with a skinny supply line heading from Riyadh to Baghdad, and then the Soviet General I didn't have the time to nuke always wipes away all my progress. If it's not Konev, it's Timoshenko. It also doesnt help when Timoshenko gets trigger-happy on the nukes. Every time I put a unit more expensive than a commando on Riyadh, it disappears the next round. When I focus all my strength on Egypt, Timoshenko comes down, and destroys all my troops when they cross the red sea, and I can never do a sustained attack on him. You know how when you're fighting generals like Yamashita, and he just disappears one round, so you feel you can let your guard down, but the next round he's in Peking? That's Timoshenko in Sea Road. I have Badoglio and Govorov to achieve this. I'm going to see in I can see if I can save up enough money to get Vatutin. I am such a late start because of my fickleness with generals. I determine which generals are worth buying, if they impress me, I set them as goals. I got Liang X.C., Tito, and Franco this way, and sold them all. I know it's possible, I just CANT STAND nukes. It's like Far East Campaign with firepower, except that you have to strike so hard and fast, that they dont have a chance to reclaim the cities I took.

It at first looked like I was going to lose, I only had Saudi and Cairo, but then I was able to hold on to Baghdad just long enough to empty Damascus's health. I couldn't have done it without Badoglio's Explosives . Govorov took the brunt of the missiles long enough for Riyadh to be too far into the game to be threatened. And the hits he did do was OP, since Govorov is known for his Artillery Barrage.
