I'm trying to do the mission with 3 stars but am not fast enough.
Any tips?

It is quite easy to hold the starting building. You just need to put a princess for one of the buildings and spam units. They need to block the possibility to land. Just put them on the shore and try to block all possible points of landing. It is not evben necessary to hit. Prefferably spam archers. So one weak general and ordinary units are ok. Rest of the generals will be busy with fort and 3rd building. You'll probably need to get more boots for Your generals  They need to be fast to move between two seats of war. Focus Your main forces on the 3rd building. And try to block the entrance between the walls on the way to fort with Your meat-shield general when You see that You could be overwhelmed there. |

Thanks! Did it!
Used Maria (increase income), Isabella (reduce infantries cost) and Anna (reduce archers cost) and an archer general to defend the spawn point.
Alexander and Attila goes to the 3rd until all enemy cavalries are gone and Spain rallied shtloads of troops, then Attila goes to the 2nd point (Alexander dead).
Nobunaga, Caesar and Saladin defend the 2nd point, the enemies don't get to land (only Koxinga managed to land, but my gens and aztec troops block all movements).
