Overview
You play as the HRE. Your goal is to capture Munich, Weilburg and Brussels. There is a golden target in this campaign, namely destroying a French fort in the south, which leads to the unlock of the Battle Of Trebbia bonus Campaign.
Guide Artillery is key in this campaign, try to recruit them and use this to bomb the french troops.
Use the artillery south plus the cavalry to go to Munich, bomb it with your artillery and capture Munich with your horse once the defending unit is either death or killable by your horse.
The French Cavalry general at Weilburg is deathly, it's worthwile to take him out using artillery or surrounding with your generals. Once you've taken him out split your troops, one half should rush towards Brussels, while the other half can easily capture Weilburg.
Meanwhile you conquered Munich and finished the campaign.

I know, this is an older thread, I will add my strategy:
The briefing is really ok, I try to give additional hints:
1. The mission has 4 + 1 objectives - Capturing Bruxels, Weilburg and Munic and hold Brunswick and a yellow optional objective - destroying the fort of Trieste. To get the optional ojectives and win the mission in time (here β€R12) is most times too complicate. I rush the mission once, safe before I finish to pick up the 50π. Than I load the safe and go for the extra objective and finish a few rounds later.
The tactical map in the beginning of a mission, shows us the way.
How To:
Rule 1 - I don't attack forts! If possible I try to flank the french forts, it is no problem if my troop also gets low morale - I just flank.
The artillery close to munic sieges the city the first 4 rounds from NW without passing the Donau. The light cavalary passes the river and supports the attacks - without comming once in range of any fort. Around 5/6 the cavalary can enter Munic and we pass with the artillery the river. Leave with tha cavalary immediately Munic, the artillery will take its place untill Moreau comes. When he comes, I build double Line Infantry, that will survive his attacks. Flank him whenever you can - but don't attack.
Our main attack goes to the city north of weilburg - the Rhine is the frontline, and we have to cross the river to head forward to Bruxles. We occupy the city with infantry and have to build there twice a double line infantry as fresh defenders. We rush forward direction west. Franquemont and the infantry from oldenburg join the front via Brunswick.
Economy: Upgrade only Oldenburg and Frankfurt in the first two rounds. I build only double line infantry (1* Oldenburg R8 and 2 or 3 in the city north of Weilburg, and 2 to defend Munich. There is an exchange in Brunswick, if you are missing 10 or 20 gold, you can change some iron.

Well if you do want the extra objective, then you can come and complete it later or send Sophia on light artillery, once you have enough resources. She has Spy, which can destroy the fort (which is the special objective)

After this, replay the last rounds, go for the extra objective and finish when you want, to unlock the extra mission. The mission takes 9 or 10 rounds with my stategy, but Munic for example is under attack at this time. Reload the last round and donΒ΄t enter Bruxles. Economy is already strong, 5 or 6 Guards in Munic and the extra objective will be done in R16 or so - Keep Bruxles empty untill the fort is done. And then finish with 3 or 4 stars to unlock the extra mission. This mission, is hard to win within R12 and get the extra objective if you are without generals.

Don't know where to post this, but if your ally captures a yellow objective, you don't get credit for it.

Don't know where to post this, but if your ally captures a yellow objective, you don't get credit for it. This is interresting. I never thought about this. I have directly two more questions: A) does this also belong to to a objective, like in this misson, where you have to destroy a yellow target? I mean: If austria destroys the fort close to trieste, will the extra mission be unlocked? B) What happens if a red objective is captured by your alliesA red objective taken by your ally this is sufficient. I used it - this works. So only one question

I let Spain capture NY in second to last Iron Eagle and noticed the problem. I had to replay the whole scenario!

While I wrote it, I remembered: I use it in Austro Turkish War, my fastest completion of a campaign mission tested many times.

Yep. Allies taking the reds will be a huge help, especially in tough campaigns. But it doesn't happen always.
