OK so you start with:
2 frigates
1 heavy ship
1 privateer
1 machine gun with 2 formation
1 guard cavalry with 2 formation
1 rocket with 2 formation
1 light infantry with 3 formation
1 light infantry with 2 formation and Hull
1 armored car with 1 formation and Dearborn
You will need:
1 artillery general(mandatory)
1 cavalry general(mandatory)
1 navy-hybrid general(mandatory?)
1 infantry general(optional)
You have to protect Dearborn and capture Lisbon, Madrid, Toulouse and Nantes
Well one thing is clear from the start that an all-out attack to France is impossible. The plan is as follows:
1. Put your artillery general on the rocket, your navy-hybrid on the heavy ship, your cavalry on the guards cavalry and whatever else you got in the best troop available.
2. Move all your ships to the right flank before you attack and the land troops near Lacoruna while you destroy the coastal fort with the rocket and guards cav.
3. Occupy Lacoruna and protect your rocket by the Portugese ship because it can deal serious damage to it.
4. Once on the mainland split your forces: A small force to occupy Lisbon but strong enough to continue on its own and the rest alongside the coast with the fleet. Make sure to occupy the port and prepare for french reinforcements although the ironclad won't move.
5. Once having occupied Lisbon the two spanish generals will have died and only Ferdinand in Madrid will have survived. At that point send your rocket to aid the force in Portugal to occupy Madrid and once you do you get morale boost for 3 turns or so.
6. While doing that the french troops will have strated a slow move but not much so have the rest of your troops soften them up while occupying the port near Bordeaux and kill Exelmans. Soult and Grouchy won't move.
7. Move your main force to occupy Bordeaux and have the troops from Madrid occupy Toulouse.
8. Once all that is done you can easily march to Nantes and end.
Tips:
1. Dearborn will be usually focused so have him either with heavy support or in the backline.
2. If you have 2nd artillery general then wait to occupy the factory near Porto andthen deploy him.
3. The enemy will usually send only generals at you but they have quite high stats(rank and nobility) so watch out.
4. Surround the spanish navy general and don't let him reach your land troops.
How I did it:
When I did it I had Golitsyn, Sophia and Isabella. I put Golitsyn on guard cav, Sophia on heavy ship and Isabella on rocket. Around round(get it?) I had landed all my troops and had occupied Lacoruna and the port. I did the steps as I describe above and ended up completely conquering Portugal, Spain and France. I dodn't need any medkits and didn't make many more troops although i kinda stoped when i attacked Bordeaux because of the fort. I think I can safely say this was one of the easiest missions in Rise of America campaign although I got only 2 stars in it.
If any of this helped let me know
NetherFreek can you put this in the campaign mission list?
