I need some help with this scenario, I can't kill the tank general in the south

I passed it by spamming rocket artillery at city in the south. It is recommended you have a good artillery gen and a navy gen. The fortresses in the south are a big nuissance so it is recommended to bring your navy general to attack it from the sea (battleships have bonus damage against fortresses).

hmm all of my rocket arts got destroyed immediately after I get them in the south city... maybe I have to upgrade my technology
Also, how do you get on the island without having to wait for the north general to get down?

Swing your navy around the south end clearing coastal artillery and land forts along with enemy navy. The defensive structures right around the tank general have too many HP. Don't bother trying to destroy them. Generally, the tank general will be lured out as you take the last city. Either way, use a heavy tank general or artillery general along with battleship general to focus him down. They can take some hits from the defensive structures.

I did it in 26 turns with Messe & vatatutin. Land your troops in the middle of the island, don't be afraid to lose your RA and artillery. Then get that city and make a heavy tank 2poeple on it with Messe. (Vatatutin is needed to land) than just go along and build RA in the south western city and bombard the bunkers and thus also the heavy tank, then with help of your destroyer and vatatutin you will crush it. Btw don't spend your time of the RA general from the enemy, not worth it.
When you win you can build the space shuttle wonders which gives 20 technology output per day, and costs 300 medals

Hmm, I'lll try again but the enemy gens will attack me as I move to the island's Southern sea. Is there a way to avoid them or do I have to move fast?

Maybe keep your navy in the north and the enemy will be focused on attacking them while your army lands south. |

I can't hold the Northeast port, my Destroyer dies very quickly.
I can hold the Southeast port, but most of the enemy is uninterested in it.
By the time I land, the RA gen is already there. My gens are mortally wounded trying to take even 1 city.
This time I tried to land North. Twice I fought a naval battle at the port, & twice Koiso (the RA gen) was not distracted.

Leeb with %30 chance to trigger Rumour, base stats & green name. The only thing impressive about my tech tree is my dedication to inf instead of tanks (which is the best unit in WC4)     |

Your sub will go take the south east tier while your destroyer and cruiser will take the north east one. After you have taken the north east one go for the old but gold Uboat spam. 150 a turn. If you find that you are unable to take the northeast port use your sub as well.
Landing wise I will suggest you to land in the middle of the 2 ports.
North west port just standby a infantry unit beside the port and continue to Attack the ships north. The sub guarding the port will move. Just take it with your infantry.
General at the west you will need to spam howitzer. I recalled that's how I win it when I was there especially when your tank tech is not up to date. Drop in a few heavy tanks when you have the spare cash.

Thanks lopicko. Brute force IS the way to go. Just have to use tactical manuevers to quickly beat RA gen Koiso with as little dmg taken as possible. |

If you have Wilhelm Ritter von Leeb, use him well. There should be certain methods of attack that do not trigger him, if I recall correctly. Also, I think pure brute force is the only way, unless you manage to land near your allies before Koiso attacks you. Note: Pray to ET for in-game luck, pray to Japan for their in-game WW2 ver to spare you & to USA for their in-game ver to be useful and not dumb  |
