I am having some difficulties passing the Sicilian level in 16 turns, can someone make a guide or something?

Firstly, if you do not have any good general it would be hard to survive. How I did it. I started as a 1 group and moved Leeb (Artillery ) and Auchinleck notrh, to press Axis infantry to the shore (on their minefield). On 2nd turn two paratroopers landed on the southeastern coast to lower morale of the inf. Leeb landed with 2nd tank (the smaller went after him). Auchinleck with infantry from the southern island moved north east to the very corner avoiding coastral gun range. They are supported with our ship (should be in good condition because he ''ll be used in destroying the city) Leeb is doing fine with his Howitzer, one of Airborne rangers is taking the northern port, 2nd is waiting. Tank is for destroying the remains on the island. Port supposed to be protected by at least one sub, when you get Sicily you can move Airborne Rangers to the corner of Italy. hints. -Mostly computer will get off the shore if you are more than 1 hex from it. It's much easier to destroy them. -Howitzer in Sicily is not moving , leave it. -enemy's Big ships are waste of time. -aim on the target, not on the enemy units. -mostly Axis units are moving on the same routes, their range and movement points are the advantage here. -if computer cannot get you with straight line he'll take road ,that is possible (ie. minefield, Sea,longer road with mountains etc.) -hint for many missions, I put general not always on 1 turn, sometimes later to surprise the Computer's movements. -many times computer surprised me with it's help, not as it was on Glory of General Pacific. I did it on 2 stars before upgrading tanks and artillery, it was really troublesome mission. (#_#), every unit counts here. Now how to do it with Rome.

Can somebody help me in this level, I only have Messe and my HQ is level 9. Can't complete this level with my self made strategy. Which is quite simple. Leave Sicily for allies and capture Naples. But the navy fleets destroy my units before they even manage to land. Tagging NetherFreek and Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr for help. Oh yeah, by the way I haven't upgraded my Messe and I am saving medals for Leeb.

K S Thimayya,don't give Sicily to allies.Instead,take it,build yourself a navy and use your navy to secure a safe way for your Messe to take Naples.Also,conserve Messe's HP as much as possible.Let allies attack Sicily and steal it.

It isn’t necessary to have lots of gens for this mission. I used Leeb but I had made it before without him. The hint is to block Patton from fighting in the sea. I had more range for aircraft and paratroopers but it isn’t necessary for this mission. wait until turn four before landing, move your carriers to the coast in turn three. land Leeb first, use your infantry to block Patton from going back to the sea, use your cruiser to end the Italian navy and then only use him to attack carriers. It worked, Patton is still on land, attack Graziani first then kill Messe and take Palermo. Once Palermo is captured, build two double stacked medium tank. Leeb can stay in Sicily to defend or go strait to Napoli and help the tanks. Start sending the tanks on turn 10, they will be essential if you have basic range for aircraft.. Tank may be have difficulty to land, support them with paratroopers and airstrikes (if you have lvl two range). If basic range, only paratroopers we made it, Napoli is ours and only but turn 14.

This one isn't to difficult if you follow this. (if you attack the island and sent the battleship to the coastal artillery then right of the island) The main trick is to maintain patton's health, most games he will go onto the island destroy the coastal artillery and stay there for a turn or two. Imeadiately following this he will rush for naples. (make sure patton takes the underside of the peninsula for easiest win) he should take care of it on his own however I recomend dropping some paratroops to take the city if its open inbetween rounds.
Notes:
While landing on the island, land the artillery on the mines, the artillery will become useless after capturing the island anyways. It will very rarely survive gining in the water again.
Use terrain with your close quarters troops. Planing your route is important as terrain can reduce damage dealt to you by 20 Percent. (try not to attack troops on mountains with tanks or troops in the forests with artillery unless they can't attack. The AI also gains these resistances when on the terain)
All of this can be done with tech from WWII Europe only. (no generals required however it helps signifigantly)
