I saw that some people have struggle with it without generals, oh well I have to say it is definitely harder than first 3 axis missions. NetherFreek this is the separate thread I told you about. Allies western 1 So here is how you start Here's what you do in first turn After killing closest enemy units retreat and keep building defensive force, put a unit inbetween french city and fort. You shouldn't care about the general in west, if he dies good for you, if not well he is not a priority The general from south will be annoying, just don't allow him to overrun your cities, always keep a unit with over 70hp in them Basically that's all.

Some additional info:
The other inf gen that's NOT Runstedt demoralises Axis troops for a few turns when killed. When this happens, try to knock out Axis arty IMO.
Also, saving up $$ is important in order to spawn an armoured car to fight Runstedt in your rear (he bypasses southernmost target city to attack rear target city).
Defense MUST be your overall strategy. Only during the demoralised period is when I'd recommend the ONLY offensive actions to be taken. You have no $$, the enemy has $$, superior firepower & numbers. An all-out offense leads to defeat here. At best you can spawn motorised inf (only to be done when City HP is low).

kill all enemies that charge at you. leave the french forces to die. they arent your friends anyway. if the enemies stop charging try to go for rundstedt with air support.
