Managed to get past the Straight of Gibraltar exercise even with some weird bug that prevented the use of any air or missile attacks and specific tiles where units could not attack at all. Our next insane difficulty exercise is in the Aegean Sea. Tanks and Naval units only for this one. Use up to 12 generals. .org/image/7u16cyt417/] .org/image/7xxjoubjqj/] .org/image/5ry532jo9n/]

Passed this one. I can’t stress how difficult these are. I went into this with 15 generals to choose from, including all IAP generals, all of them fully upgraded and promoted to red rank. I have fully upgraded tech. And I barely kept my generals alive long enough to finish this. The naval battles in these exercises are ridiculous. Purple generals in carriers and battleships with 1,800 HP. They all have anti air missile defenses. Huge slugfests. I had Yamamoto and Eisenhower in carriers, Dönitz, Nagumo, Nimitz and Zhukov in stacked cruisers. I had Manstein, Guderian, Rommel, Rokossovsky and Patton in super tanks. Built a super rocket for Konev. No way I win this without level five Rumor on my three naval generals.

Insane indeed! Without IAP generals it will take months literally simply to collect 12 names and upgrade them... You were never supposed to beat it so comparatively early in the game... Great achievement! My respect!

Great achievement! My respect! You could do it with maybe nine or 10 generals, I think. I got through it on my first try. If I had restarted, I’d have made some better decisions. I think it will take some trial and error. Of course, when you lose units, you have to rebuild them in your legion before you try again. Unless, of course, you hard restart your device before exiting.

It will also be easier to do these when modern warfare opens and you can promote your generals to purple rank. That extra HP makes a big difference since naval units and super tanks have so much HP to begin with and the bonuses are percentage-based.

A hard restart will reset to the last time you exited the app, meaning any units you lost will not need to be replaced. If one of these gets the better of you and you lose a bunch of units, a hard restart can keep you from having to spend the resources to replace them in your legion.

Is this the last exercise? I finished all scenarios, hard level with 3 stars. This one is the only thing left to complete, but I'm not sure if I have enough generals (8 in total: 2 naval,3 tank, 2 arty, 1 air) or if their rank is sufficient (some purple, most M General)

The library stops at battle of cuba... stoic, do you know if this is the last excercise? Yes, it is the last one. Two last Domination battles are somewhat disappointing, very easy to beat. Hudson Bay and Gibraltar are probably two most difficult missions in Domination...

I just completed gibraltar with all units destroyed except for super carriers, 2 air gens are v helpful currently too scared to start gibraltar hahaha, may I check if the last two domination battles you mentioned are the ones that immediately come after the battle of cuba?

No, I meant Cuba and one mission before it. And Cuba is the last one. They are relatively easy, but give good rewards. If you completed Gibraltar you can go further without hesitation. It is a smooth sailing after Gibraltar.

stoic, heard many people complaining about cuba If my memory is correct I played it only two times: - first, just to see how things look like - second, to complete it. So I really didn't have enough time to understand how difficult this mission is In comparison I played "Volgograd" mission in EW5 around 40 times to complete it
