Middle East war normal guide, nato 4 The plan of attack is to first destroy the group of soviet units in the south and take Addis Ababa. Than go north to take Cairo and cross the sea to take Jerusalem. Lastly take the city Zhukov is on to end the mission. At the start build a atomic bomb and preferably use it on one of the soviet generals. You will have shortage of technology in the mission so you should build a technology center in Cairo. If you have an air general than you can leave him in Cairo and use him to launch missiles. The soviets might send some howitzers to Addis Ababa, build some light infantry to keep them busy. Your forces will likely get demoralized due to your allies losing cities, you kinda just have to deal with it. .org/] .org/] .org/] .org/] .org/] .org/]

Is it possible to help the Saudis Arabians while invading Egypt? I did that in WC3 & was wondering if this was possible.

You will want them to keep Riyadh to avoid the morale hit. Without help they could lose Riyadh on turn 7 but I had a instance where they could hold Riyadh long enough for you to complete the scenario.

I would send 2 generals across the water and focus on destroying the soviet units attacking.

Most efficient way to help the Saudis? I would send 2 generals across the water and focus on destroying the soviet units cheaper. Yeah, just beat it 2 stars by sending Guderian and Konev to save Ridyah (ended up stealing it), and Leeb and Runstedt south to secure the rear. My strategy wasn't very quick, but I basically won by attrition, taking non objective cities to deny the soviets spawn points. I'll come back with god tier tech and more upgraded gens to get ez 3 stars

Lol... whats the rush just camp in egypt with ur generals and rekt the soviets that go into water to cross. This method works both with normal, and hard too(most suitable for this). However when I first met this mission i also rushed to land too and got a measly 1 star narrowly, after some upgrades and refinement of strategy my own seems to be easier and more manageable. Thing is to blitzkreig cairo asap b4 the double morale loss as things can get tedious then...

I can't beat it. All my troops die taking Cairo and i can't take it. When I try to take Riyadh the soviets go in circles around it and burn up my economy.

This mission is comparatively difficult. Maybe you aim for a one-star clear (then you don't have to fight around Cairo with a double moral drop) and come back later.

The Saudi play bad, they lost Riyadh on turn 5, but I can take Cairo on turn 7. Again, the Saudi play bad and lost all cities on turn 10, then Soviet control the sea & crossed it to attack. After hardly defending and collecting resources for atomic bomb and missiles, I can still manage to finish with 2*. My general: Guderian, Rommel, Konev, Arnold, Terauchi. Hope better luck next try.

My og clear for this was a strange one. I sent everyone down to Addis Ababa and when Chuikov died, the Soviet’s has a moral drop, so I pushed the offensive and wiped the soviets out of Africa. I then sent Rommel and Arnold back up to Egypt, and Guderian and Konev crosses the waters into Saudi. Took Riyadh and took out Bagramyan and fake Konev before sneak-attacking Zhukov, using my nuke on Novikov and sending my other two gens over to attack novikov. It barely worked out for me though, I think I got 1 Star originally

Why can’t we just let the soviets rear-attack us?

Why can’t we just let the soviets rear-attack us? Would that be better? Having the open deserts of Arabia to move on is better for your tanks compared to the narrow Levant which is also guarded.
