Normally, I'd move North to check the North group, then South to check Guderian's attack.
I'd recommend building RA to take out the swarms of enemies.
If Vatutin dies, you get debuffed. Also, DO NOT go for extra target at the same time. The Germans WILL defend the extra target so if you cannot cope already, this will kill you if you try to do it.

Rocket Artillery is the one thing. 2nd is not wasting units against someone who has an advantage on you (ie. gen with anty inf skills.)Third is morale. I'm on this mission , slowly to the end, with also not so cool generals. Finished in nine turns . Germans forgot that we move fast ^_^ Rockets, howitzers and protecting Vatutin will give success to everyone.

The city to the South Is reasonably easy to take after initial wave of attack however do not go for the optional city. Afterwards wait for allies to butcher German Generals and attack afterwards
This post got me a new rank

I did it this way: first killed Guderian hiding behind Vatutin's back, than captured city in the south and after that went north. I did it almost without any tech upgrades, just +1 speed infantry, +1 speed artillery ans some 1-2 not significant (I just started over, I have now 30+K gold, but I'm not upgrading tech just for fun). Though by that time I already had Crear and Timoshenko. I just tried, it's easy to get S rank as Spain in 1939, which gives you 600 medals. In case you fail to get S rank, you have some 40 turns more to get A rank which is ok too (you miss only assault medal, which is no problem to get later).
