Capture the Denmark port just above your starting position. It will give you high morale if I remember correctly. Wellesley has to land up there to capture Cristiana. Then he can advance around Sweden to Copenhagen. As for the naval combat, try to have Sophia eliminate any coastal forts. If you don't have a naval general yet, you can easily get Kate from USA or GB 1775.
In my game, nobody went for my land in the south west. If you move fast enough, Mortimer will go to Denmark instead. If not, use Kataisov to defend against him.

Mountbatten, i cant pass the gunboat mission(coalition).Can you help? I tried your tips earlier but it did not work,i think because i dont have Sophia:(

I actually recently completed this mission in around 9 turns! With my op generals of course. What generals do you have?

Ok. But the no generals thing is concerning. If I were you, I would check out some of our no general guides for Sophia. |

If you're struggling with this one, I don't know how you've gotten that far.
But anyway, I did it really easily with only 1 general (Collingwood) so a reasonably good navy general is advised. I let most of my troops including the 2 navy generals go south and take care of the main French force and Dutch general first. I sent over the artilery from England and it took Amsterdam. I kept a few ranged troops only to take on the Channel between modern Norway and Denmark. Instead of spamming troops at first, upgrade all towns that produce infantry for economy boost. At the same time, Wellesley had taken over Kiel so I could spawn troops closer. Send your hold navy back towards Copenhagen now and capture every port on the way. Make one level 3 and by now your economy should be high enough to produce a new battleship every round. Clear Copenhagen and send in Wellesley.
