This got to be one of the hardest. I had to replay this scenario a few times to get the hang of it.
Got 5 stars in 14 rounds with no medi kits.
1) Added my best arty general to the double light arty, equip with horse arty and warhorse, move it up north near the bridge to bombard Suchet. I realised that only by weakening the French on the flanks near Zurich would be vital to me in the long run. If you do not help the Prussian or Austrian, they would be overran by the French by mid game. Have your light arty to hover around Dijon and Nancy to snipe the French in the rear when they are busy. After killing Suchet, I parked my light arty in Dijon and concentrated on hitting Nancy. The fortress will fire on you, so make sure you have the arty helmet equipped to counter back.
2) Added my best cavalry general to the double heavy cavalry. Equip the horse saddle and warhorse, then move it up north, re-equip with snare drum and pistol, hit the guard cavalry. After taking Lyon, this cavalry will go south to help flank and kill Napoleon, then snipe an unattended Toulouse then proceed towards Clermont. Spam troops from Toulouse to take the factory and small town south. If Nantes is unattended, you should take it, then spam grenadiers to help take the factory and stable nearby. You will need your strongest cavalry with general here as the fighting will be heavy. Stay behind to guard Clermont as Massena will try to retake Clermont.
3) Add a navy general to one of the frigate, then move east to bombard Ajaccio, use the milita to take it, then the two frigates will move towards Marseille to bombard it and to weaken Napoleon. Once Marseille is taken and Napoleon is dead, move south along the coast, take out the coastal gun, then help the spammed grenadiers from Toulouse to take the factory and town.
4) Rowland, Charles and grenadier with your strongest infantry general on it will encircle Marseille then kill off Napoleon. French Toulouse's forces will come from the East, kill them then move up to Lyon then Dijon.
5) By the time, your main force reaches Dijon, you should have upgraded all the farms, cities, stables and factories. Try to build another double heavy cavalry from Dijon then move it up to Paris. Move the light arty that had been sitting in Dijon all these while up towards Paris. I used the new cavalry and two arty to take Paris and the IV factory as well as to kill the fort. If Nancy is in your control, build a double arty, I used Sophia on a double light arty. Sophia smashed the fort and Davout to bits in Paris. Then move to take Strasbourg.
6) By the time you reach the outskirt of Strasbourg, Carteaux would be travelling towards Lyon. Hence, you will need to buy some double/triple milita to hold Lyon. If you are lucky, Archduke will move to fight with him. (this is provided, you helped to weaken then French in the earlier rounds) if the French are greatly weakened here, the Prussian and Austrian will help to flank Strasbourg in the last few rounds.
7) Move both your arty as well as all other decent troops towards Strasbourg to take it.
8) You can use either Rowland or Charles at the trading post at Lyon to trade food for metal and $. (move whoever that is closest to dying, here to heal and help to get a better deal for you)
9) Use snare drum in every fight, if some of your generals are almost dead, move them outta range from enemy fire then use two military tents on him.
