Here are the objectives:
1) Kill Bouvet; 2) Kill Treville; 3) Kill Jourdan; 4) Kill Cosmao; 5) Kill Sebastiani (Bonus); 6) Hold St Augustine; 7) Hold Charleston Port; & 8) Hold Wilmington
=======================
1) Upgrade Charleston & St Augustine, move Jackson to Charleston to boost income. Use Jackson to trade food and metal for gold to upgrade other cities.
2) Add Kate to St Augustine frigate, move up to Savannah to defend the coastline.
3) Add generals to the heavy arty, grenadiers, line infantry, light cavalry and light arty.
4) The light arty, light cavalry and line infantry will defend St Augustine. Heavy arty, grenadier will help defend Charleston & Wilmington.
5) Park Kate in Charleston port. Use the coastal guns to defend. If your coastal guns are destroyed, build new ones. When you have more $, build battleships in the two ports that you have.
6) You might have to move land units into the sea to hit back at the enemies. Remember to flank and use the armored carrier. Need to use a lot of defensive items as well as healing tents.
7) As the name of the scenario suggests, you will be good if you have Kate and another navy general.
8) All the French generals will attempt to rush your positions towards the end. For me, I managed to kill off all the French near St Augustine early, so I rushed my St Augustine defenders to help out at Charleston.
9) I barely scrapped through to win at just 14. Treville will be the last. By this time, all your troops will be near dead, remember to flank and snipe a narrow win. Don't let the French sneak into your ports.

It might help to have a general on a coastal fort too.... especially since you already have an Econ Master in Jackson, Fatimah would be a great candidate for this.

Interesting idea. Never occurred to me to put a five star general on a coastal gun. Anyone has a 5 stars general in fort to try it out?

Fatimah is 4... she'll need to have enough rank for the job, but she works.

I don't have any navy general and I already regrouped Kate. I've been trying to complete this mission for a long time but I still can't do it. Any suggestions?

I don't have any navy general and I already regrouped Kate. I've been trying to complete this mission for a long time but I still can't do it. Any suggestions? I just replay it - Using only Fatima and Isabella for the test (4*/R16 with bonus)- not a sppedrun - more Generals will make it handy - so it can be only basical tips: This is a defending mission with a good economy and tradepost in charleston form the start - My basic tactic is spamming forts and privater - each round - you need a trading General with at least 4* so you can change Iron to gold without loss (Fatima) Spamming forts at the coastline will eat almost all of the firepower of the attacking fleet. Every round I build a cheap one (not costal fort!) the AI will primary attack them. In the remaining port every round I make a privateer - the already damaged privateers I move around to flank the enemy and only if there on bad morale I attack the ships from land - don't lose units for risky attacks - you need them for flanking. I send Hull south to defend the city, south, here spam a few Militaria - the fleet will attack them and Hull on the sea can fight for the bonus - one help would be great (I used a medipack - the third one ever) Like this the battle looks for rounds, you see the forts and my wrecked, but efficient, fleet. I know it's not a walkthrough but I hope with this hints you can successfully improve your tactics. --- Edit --- I've just noticed that Jackson is perfect for Charleston (he has 5 trading *). And I also kept the south port so I spammed more privateer than forts. Hull don't really need support - but it's not easy - in R9 he got the bonus.

I used a strategy similar to ππ³π°π΅π΄π¬πΊ as well. Privateers are supposed to target weakened enemy ships as long as your ship is not lost. They also act as units to flank and lower morale of the enemy forces. Lastly, you can use them as a blockade of sorts. If the enemy can't reach your port or fire upon it, can they take it? I built a coastal fort near the port and put 3* in forts, Sophia on it. I can't remember if Spy helps in adding dmg when attacking ships, but at least she has 3* and Siege Master.

It should work with Sophia even better - you are absolute right! Against ships she seems to have a better output.

hmm..shouldn't Sophia be on artillery? By this time, a player should have unlocked Isabella so she can the the gen placed on the arty. Anyways, a coastal fort is more important because it deals more dmg to ships, in theory.
