1) Everyone head towards Wittgenstein first, kill him, conquer the trading city and stable.
2) At this point, you can decide if you want to go straight for the other three main objectives and ignore the rest. For me, I prefer not to have anyone hitting me from the rear, hence I decided to conquer everything. I spilt into 3 separate groups.
3(i) Light cavalry and heavy cavalry will branch off to conquer Kiev then kill off Zakrevsky before going for Platov. This force got a long way to go, hence it has to be the most mobile with two cavalry generals.
3(ii) Light Arty, guards cavalry, heavy arty will punch deep past Kaluga and Smolensk. You will kill Barclay & Bennigsen. Platov might join in the fun and you can kill him too. This will be your main force. Hover around the fence tile and bombard the large fortress while waiting for your Kiev attack force to catch up.
3(iii) Your rocket arty and grenadier will move slowly without generals. Pasha is a slow snail too. Have all these head for Ryazan from turn 1. Once Ryazan is conquered, stay back and bombard Moscow across the river. Do not get into range of the heavy arty or large fortress. Alexander is a four stars 125/10, you will need to bombard him for a few rounds.
4) Once your Kiev force marry up with your main force near the fence, Alexander would be greatly weakened from all the bombarding. If Golitsyn gets nosy, kill him too. Kiev force will move up to St Peterburg. Yermolov is easy to kill @ 98/2. Remember to flank and kill. After he is dead, you can mop up all the remainder enemies around the area. In my play through, I used a cavalry and an infantry unit to take St Peterburg.
5) The main force will continue to bombard Moscow. I used Sophia to smashed the large fortress to clear a direct route into Moscow. Then I sniped the city using warhorse and horse arty.
