I'm interested seeing the skills of Suvorov. As this guy has a quote shockingly low infantrh ability, I reckon his skills are world-class.

Suvorov looks like extremely nerfed general in comparison to EW4 Having both plain fighting and mountain fighting means - one skill is useless. You can say he is not even a gold tier gen

He’s good but his skills(due to his mountian skill) are worse then washington and bismarck, and bismark and washington can get to his battle ability levels when buying items(but those are very expensive)

Suvorov was my favorite infantry commander in EW4, he is still fairly good but the other infantry generals just have more to offer. His attack power is just not very good and the double terrain skill is not optimum.
On Suvorov the value of a double terrain skill is fairly marginal imo. The double terrain skills might have been a better match and more of a value on a cavalry commander with the skill "Surprise attack" so he can have more option to charge and trigger the skill from different hexes.

One question, why such a pathetically low infantry ability?

One question, why such a pathetically low infantry ability? I think ET wish to disbalance a game to some extent. And that is very good actually! In EW4 there were only two free decent Inf generals - Dobeln and Oudinot. Now we have at least a dozen of capable Inf generals, and the players themselves have to weigh all pros and cons...

Plain fighting and mountain fighting are not the best combination of skills, of course, but it offers some tactical possibilities, if you have other Inf generals in the team with Plain fighting...

If it weren't for his mountain fighting he would be a great general. 4 star

I think he is basically Washington but costs less. Inspiration is a decent skill, better than ambush? Maybe. And I would take mountain fighting over alert anyday.

I think Suvorov isn't a bad general at all. His 18 infantry ability is a bit unrealistic, but I think his BA makes up for it. Suvorov is the best all-around general. Place him on a ship in naval missions and he'll help you out a lot especially with inspiration activated. Or, let's say in Crimean war, in one mission you aren't allowed to use cav gens, you can just put Suvorov on a tank and destroy everybody with about the same damage output as Lan
