Actually a very good general for his price. He is the ludwig of the early game generals. He is the good qualities gates offers, and the good qualities clinton offers combined. However, since you are given two free infantry generals, you should only go for him if you are building your team around infantry. Nevertheless, he is very cheap. Only blue tier infantry general worth buying, as Soult and Wilhelm III are outdone by Garibaldi.

Weakly recommended. Since you have two free infantry generals, a wise option would be to either get a cavarly general, or someone to buff the two.

If Plain Warfare and Urban warfare stacked, he would be overpowered. Not really sure if it does. Can someone confirm this?

Good general for his price, but why would you get him if there are other generals.

This guy was my first general on my first run with EW6. He holds a special place in my heart because so. Looking back, that was a decent decision, but I could have started going for Ney. 3 stars for this guy.

He is good, but you don’t really need him. 3 stars. If the game didn’t give you free generals he would be like Messe in WC4: A good general for early game.
