So EW6 is definitely a somewhat more HOI4 take on the Easy Tech franchise but it is definitely a great game so far. I managed to get through the entirety of the American Revolution timeline so far, but upon doing so have immediately become stuck on the first Canadian level. The land portion isn’t too bad but the fact that American literally has almost 10 ships by the fourth round and you only have to two to start makes the level impossible. I know the game is very new but any help would be great. I have all three generals from the American Revolution Timeline (Jourdan, Clinton, Hood) and Codrington who I bought with some of the medals I earned. Thanks

It is like “cant get cold war scenerios with ww2 tech” in wc4. ı dont have so much time, too busy with work but when i look over game, there is a tech tree that needs to reach specific campaigns like “reach french eagle” i suggest u to develop your tech tree.

I used the 3 free America campaign gens. First build grenadiers in the northwestern city for Gates (and Clinton on round 2) and a light artillery in your factory. Put Jourdan on the existing one and move them into the above position on round 2. Dearborn won't attack your units and neither will the ships so surround him and kill him. After killing him, you will get control of Drummond and the militia in the city. Drummond is going to die next turn no matter what, so he's useless. Just keep an eye on the city and make sure no sneaky infantry capture it. The enemy units will prioritize taking your objective instead of defending Boston, so it's wide open for your artillery and grenadiers to attack. I lost both Gates and Clinton doing this but that's fine. Again, make sure you keep building line infantry every round in your objective, the enemy navy will be bombarding it. You can use your remaining ship to try and kill some of them. As you can see the enemy ship left the port entirely. Now that you have it though, the enemy navy will target you. You'll have to build ships every round to maintain control of it. Your income should be about 200. 130 for a ship, 50 for a militia in their respective objectives. Lastly, you have to capture the southernmost port. Use Jourdan to kill the ship and try to have soldiers in position to capture whether it's by land or by sea. Make sure Jourdan is utilizing the coastal fort already built, it's extremely helpful against ships.

Actually, if you control the target Canadian city, you can basically lure & "trap" the USA's fleet in that tiny sea separating the 2 ports. Then I destroyed both ports to prevent their capture.
I held out at the target city until Drummond came & killed Dearborn. Then I built a port in the Southernmost sea tile controlled by target city where I spawned ships. After this, I marched Southward.
After capturing Boston, the only thing left was capturing the 2 ports, which was easy since I had naval reinforcements.

Just finished this quest on turn 10 using only the 3 free gens. I want to add a couple of tips that may prove you helpful, though I used Mountbatten's guide to help me out.
The starting point is pretty much like he stated, but make militia instead of line infantry (its cheaper and will still resist the 4-5 ship attacks it will receive every turn). On turn 3, you should be able to take down Deadborn.
Dont get light, but heavy artillery. Artillery is your best bet against ships, this extra damage and resistance will prove very worth during this scenario, they will handle the battles against ship way better. I ended up with 4 heavy artillery, which was key for achieving victory, specially at the last turns. When you capture Boston, use it's factory rather than the one at the top.
Dont capture the first dock (the one near Boston) as maintaining it against the other fleet is hard trouble and expensive AF. Just keep the ship in that dock low hp (the ship will usually attack Boston's rather than , so expect its hp to drop a bit through counter attacks and move downwards, ignore the city southwest of the map and focus on the ship in the other dock, with artillery should drop low hp soon. When you have at least 1 troop 1 tile away from each dock and you're sure you can finish the ships protecting both in that same turn, fully attack the ships and capture both ports the same turn. The one near Boston is easier, as you can train troops directly 1 tile of the port (in the city), the factory is very close, and you also have another tile to access or attack the dock.
Big tips:
1. Do not make a single ship nor send troops to the sea except on the last turn to capture both docks, enemy ships prioritize them and cause big damages
2. At the start you can lure the cavalry into attacking the fortress from your Montreal ally, if you do this correctly, he will leave the city and go downwards on turn 2, making him useful (and the fortress as well). I didnt do this the time I made this quest, but whilst writing and testing for this guide, I noticed. To do this, on the first turn, send the infantry on Ottawa fully to the east, and the lancer you start with, move it to the tile between the fortress and the barrier defense (the small fortification south of Ottawa that provides a bonus against cavalry). On the second turn, move this cavalry to the tile just on the top of the fortress. The enemy rider will go attack the fortress on that turn, triggering Prevost to leave his city and move downwards.
3. Until I captured Boston, all i was doing was militias and heavy artillery. Militias have the advantage of costing 0 industry.
4. Once you're given the target city, raise its level and build a farm there (10 extra population), this will come in very handy for the siege of Boston. For around 100 coins, you get 2 extra troops without suffering tax penalties, so IMO was very worth it
Hope this helps. A mission i first struggled with heavily as i tried to take control of the seas to get both docks, when going full land it turns out to be quite easy.

This was a tough one. Heavy artilleries placed at coastal fort tiles was the key. Thanks to all, I scraped thru for a 2 stars.

Had to invest to Nelson because apparently it’s game over once Drummond dies in the early game.

Yo, I’m kinda stuck at this though I use Lord Mountbatten’s guide. The enemy naval support is just overwhelming and a lot of my troops die a few turns in. I have the 3 free Declaration of Independence gens and Theodoros (The Greek infantry gen)

Here one has to invest in naval no way around it,as Drummond(whom has no naval skill what so ever) Bait but needs to survive to get 3 stars Build frigates corvettes, clippers ect,and place Falson on the one or two frigates already there. Move all forces east to the coast to assist. Build cannons,to occupy coast defences, build more coast defense when possible. Then go at it,sinking ships attack them any way possible, also reccomend upgrading naval tech. Falson really shines here,if you have him yet. Btw,the 2 ships at port are stationed,at least it was with me.

I can't afford Nelson, but I can get Jones. Would he work for this?

I can't afford Nelson, but I can get Jones. Would he work for this? You don't need them, if you're still here i don't think you have Karl and massena get them First. You don't realy need navy gens in this game, Maybe in some missions.

I realized that the hard part of this mission was the navy one, so I leveled my city up to 3 to spam corvettes and destroy the US Navy while I used the DOI generals + Murat to capture the ground objectives.
